Sunderland service 23, will be diverting for the time-being, a child has been knocked over at Springwell shops, so the road is blocked.
I can see it from my house.

Not bad loads then, hopefully continues!
Hopefully they don't start putting the fares up dramatically. I think the value for money is one of the main reasons the service gets good passenger numbers.

Can we clear some recent fleet changes up.
From noted in the September thread I believe the following has occurred, correct me if I am wrong.
34605 - Reserve at Sunderland along with 35189 and 39709.
34611 - Reserve and Training at Sunderland. Is this allocated to service work? As it's last time in service was on the Airshow with service 18.
35194 - Apparently withdrawn from service and replaced by 35195.
35195 - Apparently reinstated and allowed 35194 to be withdrawn.
Could anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Though like several other vehicles in the fleet, the Sunderland reserves remain in active service

Is there any chance in Slatyford getting 22511 into service as they have worked there magic on getting every other kinetic into service?
As I'm working in Newcastle next week I'm going use the x24
Where does it currently stop in Newcastle as pilgrim street is closed.

It stops round the corner on the left next to the magistrates court. Where the 33 to Gosforth has its layover.
E300 27730 is now in corporate livery, is this a sign of new buses for the economics?

I've heard that stagecoach wants everything in corporate, I've heard that the gas buses are going into corporate colours when there next due in for repaint.

There's no new buses on order for this year in the north east.

All Economics are losing their branding with all Gas E300 and E400Hs heading into the corporate livery yes. North East are first inline for new buses on the 2018/19 order after orders were postponed for this financial year.

Funny, i was just about to type that.
I'm not sure what's on order, but i hope more gas buses for Sunderland, making it full gas operated....... hopefully better buses for the X24.
At least this means the gas E300's will finally lose the "Check out our new ride" tagines [emoji14]

It's been on the cards for months, so wouldn't hold your breath on it happening in the next few weeks. Possibly on hold now waiting for the new corporate livery to be finalised.

How long does it take to finalise a livery?
I think they'll look smart in the cooperate livery...... i do hope if Gas buses are part of the order, then they'll be for the 10/11 and 23, they'll need 18 in total, i would imagine some spares would be ordered... say around 3?
Current allocations:
3 - 9 PVR
12/13 - 11 PVR
16 - 10 PVR
20 - 5 PVR
Total: 35 plus 5 spare.
------------------------
10/11 - 10 PVR
23 - 8 PVR
Total: 18 plus 4 spares.
--------------------------------
Overall -
53 PVR total
9 spares overall
-------------------
All Darts leave Sunderland, replaced by some of 36081 - 94, rest to cascade out to replace the MAN's.
Surely they can justify some new buses for the 100 in next years order, its well overdue an upgrade especially with the state of the current E300s
Has 27730 just been de-branded or has it been treated to a repaint too?

Hopefully a few places in the NE get new buses, i do think the 100 deserves new buses too... would think they would be the new Enviro200 though.
Hopefully this orders, wipes half of the remaining MAN's out of service.
I hope South Shields gets enviro 400 MMCs for the X34 and the Es Services

I still prefer the scanias that used to operate on the 100.

Proper vehicles them. Tanks.
Saw a 100 E300 this morning and it sounds worse than some of the B7 presidents GNE have!
What's the current diversion for the X24 due to the roadworks on Felling Bypass, seen one earlier coming along Northumberland Way next to Usworth College heading towards Newcastle.
I was on an x24 this morning towards Newcastle and it didn't even divert.

Driver discretion perhaps.
