I thought this would have been a better match for the GNE fleet rather than the EYMS fleet and send them a Volvo B9TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 down there to save EYMS having non-standard vehicle.
I'm guessing part exchanged for one or two surplus ex National Express coaches.
Perhaps for the EY coaching fleet (to replace 200)?.

As confirmed on the East Yorkshire Enthusiasts Facebook page, 5 8.9m E200MMC has been purchased from dealer stock.
They are:
516: YX21 RYP - presently in Hull paint shop
517: YX22 OGJ
518: YX22 OGK
519: YX22 OGL - also now at Hull but awaiting its turn
520: YX22 OGM
According to buslistsontheweb.co.uk they are also getting a new E400 (presumably MMC), A7 EYC. No fleet number listed for it there, though

We've got some pretty big news for our customers in Scarborough... We're building a new bus depot! After nearly two years of work from behind the scenes, we're relocoating and combining both our Barry's Lane and Westwood depots to a new location on Taylor Way in the middle of 2024.

The two were always separate businesses, including the finances of them - it was only the statutory directors that were shared (and the GNE Finance Director still is across both).
