I really have absolutely no idea what you're on about. Can we at least try to stay on topic please?
Ex-Bluestar 2451(5481) & 2454(5484) have arrived and are sat in Riverside depot.

None, it was the gearbox, and it was 4958.

4960 has been sold on from Alpha, I believe to become a motor-home.

All Riverside buses with the newer controllers (including the Quaylinks) had their firmware updated last Sunday, with subsequent content update.

So yes, more or less all of these will be showing destinations with the large terminal point now. The buses with the older controllers will be updated by the end of this month to allow everything to have the new scholars/work service destinations programmed in... This is when the whole fleet will be large terminal point only.

Buses fitted with the newer Next Stop Announcement system will also start to make better use of the feature to automatically change the destination display based on GPS location. This is already being done successfully on the daytime 81-84 services (changing destination to the next route at The Galleries), as well as on the 42A and X9/X10 services where the service is split in the middle of the route. Services such as the 21 and X9/X10 with the newer system will start to show "Eldon Square" as the terminal point as they approach Gateshead Interchange, while services such as the 27 will show "Market Street", making it clearer to people waiting to board a bus in Gateshead where the Newcastle-bound service terminates.
Does the bus on the 681/185/X81 interwork with the 683 at 18:10?

Yes, but only on a Saturday!

Ah thats brilliant!
I really like the large terminal point only destination screens, so much clearer, simpler and more modern. When I see scrolling screens now I think how messy they look. In town I often think oh so that (passing GNE) bus goes to [wherever], whereas I never really notice or pay attention to passing Stagecoach or Arriva buses with their cluttered scrolling screens.

Really looking forward to seeing Newcastle city street names appear too, rather than just 'Newcastle'. Impressive work GNE. Smile

It was not i service and not on the q3 route. It was at manors (probably should have putthat in yesterday) so any ideas why
(31 Jul 2018, 5:18 pm)Dan wrote [ -> ]Think you may have mixed it up with 6104.

6103 has been VOR since the end of June - it's currently at Volvo (Crowther Industrial Estate, Washington) having some work done to its engine.

Now back at Percy Main undergoing preparation for PSV test.

All being well, 6103 will be back on the road this Friday.
Angel 6331 doesn’t seem to have had its NSA silencer update. It’s announcing the number and destination during boarding and again on door closure.
From Dan's comment on Flickr:

The 06 plate Geminis are primarily being allocated to Deptford and Percy Main so are subject to use on daytime services in between schools, hence tidying up their appearance and fitting with LED displays.

How many will each depot get?
Where has 618 gone? It's no longer at Riverside, and it's last trace was the app showing it was on the AD122.

That road wasn’t designed for large vehicles I’ve seen my accidents happen in the late eighties early nineties the bends are too sharp.
I saw a 38 couple of years ago nearly wipe out a family car under the bridge

It was withdrawn a month or so ago, it was crawling along the Team Valley at around 5/10mph before giving up, with clouds of black smoke being thrown out.

I believe it's at Hexham to assist with keeping 619 on the road.

Would this replace the omnidekkas at percy main so they can cascade to other services?
Are the Bluestar Citaro's being allocated to just 1 depot or various depots around the NE?, i can't remember if it was said where they would be allocated.

Not sure tbh, looking at the fleet lists, they would replace nothing at Deptford, as the only B9's we have are the Fab 56 B9's.

6010 needs replacing at Percy Main, so i would imagine that would replaced by an Omnidekka, to move the president in to a spare role.
Anyone taking any pics of tonight’s diverted buses down the tunstall hope tonight

Go North East need to start sorting out the reliability problems on service X7, yet again couldnt get service X7 back home to Oakerside area due to the bus running late and driver deciding to terminate at peterlee bus station and head straight back out to Sunderland, Southern area of peterlee getting a bad deal.

Driver wouldn't have made that decision - he'd have been told to do so by the control room.

They have plans for regulating each service and presumably Bus Station - Oakerside is what they deem most appropriate to regulate.

Not much use if you're on a Go North East ticket!

I hope you have reported this to Go North East customer services, as well as posting on here. If you don't report it, they might not know.

When the x7 arrived at Peterlee bus station , another GNE employee came across to the bus and told the driver to head back to Sunderland and don’t do the oakerside circle.

I’ve been reporting it to GNE for quite a few months now , but there seem to be no solution .

Green Arrow Solars look to be off to get their Hanover's updated, as the 11/11A/97 is being operated with corporate Solars and 3 Citaros (including Citylink 5277).

They need more than their Hanovers sorted!
