Government funds bus industry to improve air quality
Local authorities to be awarded £25m to further bus retrofitting plans.

In our area, funding as below:

Newcastle - £379,600 - 23 buses
Gateshead - £230,750 - 13 buses
South Tyneside - £133,952 - 8 buses

How long do councils have to have to keep the buses in service after they receive the modification's?  


Wonder if the Citaro's at Riverside will receive them?... 36 Citaro's at Riverside for Gateshead and Newcastle 

Not sure on the South Tyne ones though...
