Couple of them aren't that comfy. I ride the 53 about 4 times a day usually and 1582 and 1585 are the worst rides but 1575, 1581 and 1589 are the smoothest streetlites to ride at Jesmond

NK61 reg VDL on 685 today at 08.55 westbound on A69 about 1 mile before Haltwhistle east junction - on time - this is the 3rd Arriva bus on the route and the one which has the double decker on the second roundtrip (early afternoon round trip). Also saw the Cross Pennine 685 route branded Scania Omnicities 4661 and 4662 on the route.
