Have they all been treated to full repaints?

[Image: 47959281181_0d8fc634c6.jpg]Here is a rare sight here is stagecoach Sunderland E200 fully stripped ready for the new coat seen at the back of wheatsheaf depot before taken by my mate Harry by Sunderland wheatsheaf depot, on Flickr

36971/2 haven't been repainted yet. Im surprised they haven't just used 3 of the gas buses instead

19387 was repainted earlier this week - seen below heading to Wheatsheaf.

19434 also seems to have been repainted: https://flic.kr/p/2g65faQ

Had seen 22068 display the 52 towards Heworth. Didn't know Stagecoach had displays for withdrawn GNE services.

Currently not down to change, last change on VOSA is still down as 24th March 2019
Didnt know about the 30 x20 moving to sunderland heard it was the Es and maybe x34 thats it
Gonorth91. I heard it from a South Shields driver some time last week. Robin
Ah ryt like 2 see some deckers on the Es

Gonorth91. I have only seen 3 Double deckers on the E services since last week end. We should have keeped the 16000's we used to have on the E1/2/3 a long time ago. Yours Robin

Hi Robin

Dan works for Go North East not Stagecoach that's how he can update loads of info on Go North East.

RBZ5459 is a good point of contact for Stagecoach info but don't hound him.

RBZ5459. I here we are losing the E 27’s is it true and where are they going. Robin

Well since the E's are moving to Sunderland, i would imagine they'll be going to Sunderland...

RBZ5459. Will Sunderland use there gas buses on the E services to South Shields when are services get changed on the 23rd. Also what will they use on the x20 + 30 to Fellgate And Boldon Asda. Robin

Obviously down to the works at Testo's, but had the unusual sight of an SNE blue liveried gas bus plodding down the Washington Highway tonight, passing the Galleries, towards Shiney Row.

Not sure how much time the diversion will have taken, but I imagine it will have added a few minutes.

Reckon it's the first in service SNE bus I've seen in that area, since they had the contract to run the 186 early morning runs back in the day.

Shouldn't be anything hugley different at this stage, as Sunderland drivers and buses have their own normal booked duties. The ex-Shields drivers will be working their routes in which they were transferred over for, being familiar to those routes and those vehicles only (the Shields drivers have not yet been type-trained on the Scanias for example). At this stage some Sunderland drivers are voluntarily in the process of being trained up on the Es and X20/30 so that they are able to cover the Shields routes when needed, so to minimise disruption or lost mileage. I'm sure that over time when things settle down that ex-Shields drivers will be type-trained and familiarised with Sunderland local work.

All 15 E300 and 4 E400 will be moving across to Sunderland, with the X20/30 likely to be seeing two or three E200 move over - looking like MAN ones atm.

I take there is no change to X34 other than the transfer as nothing has been listed on website.

Is the x34 being ran from Sunderland also? If not then I can’t see why the 4 e400s would be moving across
Zone Repaint Update

27173/7 have now been treated to a repaint. This leaves 27167/9/71/4 left to be treated.
As 27171/4 are both out in service today, one of the other two are likely away for repaint.

That would be why they're moving across.

27171 was repainted by 20th May.

Me and my tired mind - yes, that leaves 27167/9/72/4 to do, all of which are in use today.

I bet they'll be on the X24 within a week.

Probably lol ?

Those omnilinks are very tired and often miss days in service. Leaving a nice combination of gass buses and omnilinks and on Saturday q gas bus, 36093 and 24003. You'll be lucky if you can get a year out of them.

I'm gonna think up of a cascade plan and post it in the order predictions

Also does anyone know if the transbus enviro 300s are transferring to Newcastle in the summer or is it just the 241xx E300s. I'm hoping that both can come so we can get rid of the crappy 225xx E300s.

225xx are not going anywhere. I have a theory that Stocktons new MMC 200s will release 4 ADL E300s for Sunderland to go on the X24 replacing the Omnilinks and along with making South Shields more of a Hartlepool Operating Base could be why the Es are moving to Sunderland. I think the Kinetics And 05 E300s are likely to come to Newcastle only to replace any 03/54 Regs remaining otherwise there will probs be no other cascades. Well one can hope.

They split the Kinetics up. Why would they send them back again?
