Few working changes on Teesside following the service changes:

The 0700 58 from Stockton to Hardwick, the 0712 58A from Hardwick to the Transporter via Holme House Prison and the 0808 58 from Stockton to Hardwick are all booked for a E200MMC - the vehicle works the aforementioned 58/58A to the Transporter before running light back to Stockton to work the 0808 trip. After that, the vehicle runs light to Middlesbrough to pick up 36s from 0900.

2 of the E400s now have weekday service work wrapped round their college turns:
The 1 (Redcar Ings Estate, Wacky Warehouse to Prior Pursglove College) runs onto 58s - starting at 0920 until its last trip from Stockton at 1440 (arrive back at 1516). It then runs light to work the afternoon trip on the 1 before running light back to Stockton to work the 1715 58 round trip.
The 3 (Markse Roundabout to Prior Pursglove College) now includes the 12 - the times have now changed, the first E400 trip departs Middlesbrough at 0933 (1012 from Coulby) arriving back at 1052. It then appears to layover from then until 1221 when it resumes service to work the 1221 to Coulby and the 1300 return, with the last trip being the 1357 from Middlesbrough, return from Coulby at 1436.
22012 and 22051 have been withdrawn, one of the drivers said on Stagecoach UK Enthusiasts group on Facebook but 22050 has been temporarily reinstated.

27509 and 36465 are both currently at the Wheatsheaf, presumably for repaint

Does anyone know what has happened to 34611? Seems to have been missing for a few weeks, and with 34605 being used as the Christmas bus this year instead.

RBZ 5459. I am sick of hearing about 35189 being used on services like E1,E2,x20 why don’t they just send it to our depot instead. Robin

Because South Shields doesn't need it...

44017 and one of its sisters parked in the corner of Stockton depot yard this morning both in all-over sliver (44017 was in corporate livery from its time with East Scotland).

As is former corporate liveried 44015.

All been through the paintshop and repainted silver. 44006/15/17 were hiding in workshops at Stockton last week, assume 44005 was away at repaint when it was noted.

Can't someone get a photo of 44017 if you can get one please.

28031 has gained branding advertising the Sunderland Dayrider and Megarider

Robin. Addressing every post to a particular user and ending it with your name makes you look stupid. OrangeArrow49.
Orangearrow49. Fine thanks for the advice to the question I was asking.
Are the x24/X34 Sunday Christmas journeys profitable? I suppose they must be as they have introduced them again this year, but just wondering what sort of passenger numbers they tend to get?

X34 has had the Christmas Sunday journeys for well over 10 years now. Possibly 20 years. I know they were introduced when the X34 still served Haymarket Bus Station as I remember the Stagecoach staff being on the bus stand with sweet mince pies on the arrival of the first one of day.
Information from The Stagecoach North East twitter page:

#NclOps With immediate effect we have had to take the difficult decision to reroute the X63 service. Regrettably this will mean that there will be no service X63 on Kilingworth Road through South Gosfroth and BT Call Centre. Service will operate  full length of Benton Lane

Is that a reversion to the route used during the closure of the Metro bridge?  The tweet sounds a bit dramatic, though; has something specific happened?
Back to diversion route for now, the next phase of work is causing too much disruption to running times.

In other news, look out for 22512 as it is currently undergoing service prep for a brief stint return to service at Walkergate.

22018 from the disposal pool at Stockton is now in use by Slatyford.
