North East Buses

The E1/E2/E6 is being ran by Gas Buses today.

Fleet Numbers 28007/13/14/24/27/33/38/39/40 according to Bus Times.

27728, 27731, 27734 are all on the X24 with 27737, 27739 also on the X24 but currently in the depot (according to bus times)

Yesterday 27251 onto 39, 26282 onto 10.

Today 26277 13, 26278 39.

Two MMCs off route in Middlesbrough yesterday

26283 was out on 12s as well as working the inbound only 794 trips and a 39
26287 meanwhile spent the day on 39s

How does that 794 run work? In terms of it interworking with other routes, and drivers that normally do that run. Is there only a small amount of drivers who are required do it like?

Weekday
Light depot to Grangetown to work the 0537 trip into Middlesbrough, then light out from the Bus Station to Lazenby to work the 0637 trip from there into Middlesbrough, then the bus drops onto the 39 at 0710
Saturday
Light from the depot to Grangetown to work the 0537 trip to Middlesbrough, then light back to Grangetown to work the 0630 trip to Middlesbrough via Lazenby. On arrival in Middlesbrough, it then runs light to Coulby Newham to work the first 12 into Middlesbrough
The 0644 full round trip from the Bus Station starts on the first 14 from Trimdon Avenue at 0614. Like the other bus, this then runs light to Coulby Newham to pick up a 12 into the town, then a full round trip before the bus parks up for about an hour then drops onto 14s (the bus it replaces on the 14 then layovers until 1220 when it replaces the other 14 which then parks up until 1440 and replaces a bus on 10s).

Think all the drivers are supposed to know it but the weekday ones tend to be on the early staff driver rota while the Saturday ones appear to be on most rotas.

the 3/20s are interworking as per the usual evening timetable with a PVR of 4
