North East Buses

Pardon me if this has been asked before 

But are 1429 and 30 set to return to redcar or has it been a perminate move

Nobody seems to know, some are saying they're on loan but others say they've transferred. AFIK they are on loan, before they went to Yorkshire think it was suggested they would head to Blyth to displace the Commanders, they're no longer required at Redcar depot due to PVR reduction as a result of service changes.

However though surely redcar couldve at least kept them sending 1759 for withdrawl and sending Yorkshire tiger cadet to Blyth.

Then redcar keeping them sending 4721-26 for repaint and upgrading for sapphire route

They went on loan to AY so that vehicles over in Yorkshire could be upgraded to Euro 6 emission standards.

If this is off topic I do apologise, does anyone know why 1408 has been sent up to North East from Yorkshire? Is it a case of you guys need more buses? Or is this just a loan? At first I thought it could have been MOT or something or a repaint as its the only bus in the Yorkshire fleet still in the very old Arriva Livery, don't know how they forgot to paint that one into Interburban when the others got done.

Long term loan while some of Yorkshire vehicles are modified to bring them up to Euro 6 standard

To cover increased requirements as a result of scholars dupes along with the Yorkshire Tiger's

1408 was swapped for 614 which had to go back

Thank you for that I thought they might have sent 1430 back, as that is at Wakefield atm. As 1430 was a north east vehicle thought it'd might have made more sense to send their own vehicle bac,
