Don't know if there is already a thread for this but. All little coaster buses have a rare working on it today
42 has 6109 Cobalt & Coast
42A has 6110 Cobalt & Coast
11 has 5269 2019 Scania CN230UB OmniCity
41 has 5270 2019 Scania CN230UB OmniCity
Obviously the 19 has Scania CN230UB OmniCity on it already.
Is this due to two of the little coaster buses being used on the 46 and 51 or something else

Probably more to do with Easter weekend and social distancing

Must be. Never seen this many rare working for the Little Coaster buses. Well 700 broke down on the 42A at Dinnington. 6109 on the 42 has been on all day. 5269 on the 11 replaced 694 and 5270 on the 41 has been on all day
Moderation note: Thread re-named 'Go North East: Rare & Odd Workings - April 2021' so that this can be re-purposed for future discussions.
6110 looked to have come on the 42A at Four Lane Ends towards Wallsend at around 1330.

Yea it replaced 700 which broke down at Dinnington which is strange as they usually start at Wallsend or Killingworth
Just seen a ToonLink Branded ex London Gemini NIS passing the Toby in Washington heading towards Crowther
Quite possibly heading to the Volvo Bus and Truck place in the Crowther Estate, either heading there for repairs or on a test run.
Go North East Xlines X84/X85 ADL Enviro 400 MMC 6353 makes a rare appearance on the Tyne Valley Ten to Hexham.

Would make sense if the static Sunday Hexham boards (don't end day at Riverside) were allocated these for BSOG & fuel economy.
Only reason I can see GNE not taking this option unless unavoidable is in the event a bus needs swapped out at Metrocentre or Newcastle in which case it can be a B9TL for another B9TL rather than an odd type ending up away from it's home depot.

There's only one hexham board that starts/finishes at hexham, and it has riverside drivers taking stead at various points, which would mean familiarisation required and whatever else.

Couple more on m-sat, but I think most of those have riverside duties somewhere too...

6172 done a round trip on the X1 from the galleries to Newcastle this afternoon

As 6376 has remained at Consett, 6099 is the dedicated spare bus for service X1. You'll find it being allocated to service X1 more often than not, so I'm not sure it has a place in this thread!
After 6099 and 9119, 6172 is the next preferred spare for the X1 (although you'd like to hope that there won't often be more than two StreetDecks off service!)

Never knew thank you for the info.
So apparently 7152 keeps appearing on bus org and the Go North East app on the 68 from Newcastle to Heworth but then tracks as an X10 halfway down the A19
3996 on Toon Tour. This makes no sense due to it not being a percy main bus

It's obviously 3997 with the wrong fleet number in the ticket machine.
Ah okay. Thanks for clarification. Btw is 3999 being used as driver change over as it was sitting on Bewick Street yesterday
9056 is on the X5. Didn't take long for one of them to escape onto normal service.

9057 was on X15 last week too.
What tickets are valid on the Stagecoach duplicate services operated by GNE?
Some journeys on the 11, 12, 32, 63 and X82 are operated by GNE, but not just for scholars I believe..
Black and white Omnicity on the 49 earlier on.
