EDIT: now managed to sign in.

There was an issue on the Tapatalk side this morning, but was fixed within about an hour.
I tried to access the forum on my tablet and this kept occurring

It's fine now mate, it was just my tablet playing up
Is the forum getting some sort of update?, just a few things seem out of place

Yea, there are some minor updates being applied. Smile
I seem to be unable to access all parts of the website on my phone from the browser.

This is what I am getting:

And if I click details:

Fortunately I am still able to access the forum via the Tapatalk app.

Not sure what's wrong as I clicked a link to a particular bus in the fleet lists from a link in one of the threads a few minutes ago and it worked fine.

EDIT: fine today.
Cant post in certain areas of the forum, when clicking post it sends me back to home page.
ditto (crosses fingers before hitting post)
Is this the new format for the forum or is it a temp one?, i have to say, i'm not keen on it at all.

The placement of the dropdown isn't really working in firefox

The scrolling after clicking anything on the page issue appears to have been fixed, mind. My arrow, home, end etc keys are all working again.
I have to hover over my name to access the list for new posts etc, its quite annoying.

Edit: its worse on my phone for the layout.

Took 3 trys to open the tab thing for the list...

Must say, I agree with Michael on this one.

Neither am I back to bbb for me.
Is it not just because it is new, and once you are used to it, it will be OK?

Have to admit I've done the same. When I just made a post in the Arriva Odd Workings thread I didn't like the fact that on my laptop the text box and box for smiles were far too far to the right/left with a large gap in the middle. Also didn't like having to press drop down menus to see if there is any unread posts or if I have any new PM's.

Whether it's just because I'm not used to it or not I don't know, although I don't think I was actually keen on the bbb design when we first got it.

One issue with bbb mode at present is the links to the fleet lists etc. are showing twice.

Only thing i don't like about it
My only gripe is the removal of the 'Return to Top' shortcut which used to appear at the bottom of the page (where else?).

Other than that, I'm not fussed. A message board is a message board at the end of the day!
I preferred the old theme, this theme looks too temporary for my liking.
Is someone messing with our heads? Dan?!

In the 10 minutes I've been online, I've had a single link at the top.

First was new posts (or something like that). That one's no good if I go away without checking everything out then come back.

Then Today's posts - most useful IMO

Now it's Unread posts and that's changed format in the last click or two!

Liam is currently improving the new forum theme based on the feedback given over the past few days, given that a number of members opted to go straight back to the old theme which showed two main site navigation bars on the forum.

We're ditching the drop-down on your name in favour of links across the navigation bar (as we had before), so that's why you can see it changing at the moment.
It's looking good now.

The drop down was just messy. I didn't try it on my phone or tablet.

Jolly good..!

I've forced all users back onto the new theme, just so everyone can give it a fair trial now that it's more or less complete. The 'smilies' bit has been reduced in size now too, giving more room for the box to post your reply. Smile

Ye, it was quite annoying trying to get it to drop down on my phone.
Thanks for re-implementing the 'Return to Top' feature.
Looks so much like how it used to be now. Much easier to navigate.
Looking superb on my phone, using chrome, BTW Smile
Seems the site keeps going offline.
