Must be on loan, 6167 is also on loan to Chester and was on the X21 yesterday
Is this still a thing?
I'm sure Go North East must be keeping these ex Lothian B9TLs since you would have thought they have sent them on their way to Ensign Bus right now, yet they seem to be used daily as crew buses or in the case of today in service....

9056 catching me off-guard on the X46 in Bridgehill (I was focused on 6332 going the other way) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1371124815
9061 on the X15 at Leadgate - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1369362317

It’s a 6-month rental (just like Stagecoach’s MCVs from Ensign - which is why they weren’t handed back when they could have been).

There’s clearly still a need for them to be on loan if they’re being used in service!

There did seem to be a number of non X-Line spec vehicles operating today out of Consett depot on X-Line Routes.

Happens every night for the last short run to Heworth and back from the Galleries, or Concord on a Sunday.

When did solos get branded as Voyager? I missed that one… what route/routes are they allocated too? I seen one at Dalton Park the other day, can’t recall what service, I’m guessing either 265 or 202.

723 is the only Solo branded as Voyager - because it has seatbelts and a tachograph.

It's at Washington at the moment for use on the staff shuttle, but has also been used for route learning the extension of the X1 to Peterlee/Dalton Park (which I suspect is what you saw).

I see, right. Ah route learning for the X1 makes sense, never thought of that!
Was gonna post that I saw 6173 tracking in Whitley Bay today and saw it. But realised what it was for earlier on twitter
Not 'rare' as such, but somewhat surprised that 6099 has spent all evening out on the X1, whilst the Xlines spec Streetdecks are sat tucked in for the night.
