Have GNE had any buyers for the Citaro's/Omnicities yet?

Edit:

Done some working out (probs wrong) but after withdrawals they'll be:

40 Citaro’s in service - Deptford and Washington
14 Omnicities left in service - all at Washington

Probably would of been only the 10 and 63 plate citaros left it covid hadn't happened.

There's no use for them unless I'm missing something, be very surprised if they end up getting Euro 6 mods (unless they've been done) and there's no route that needs them assuming that 8319 - 8328 or Streetlites do the 25/28/28A with 8307 - 8309 acting on 34 while spares for the rest.
I could see this happening as there's no obvious use for them. With 8329-8338 on the 2/2A then 8319-8328 for the 25/28/28A and 8307-8309 as spares like you say. Then perhaps 8310-8315 remain at Riverside for the 29 and 67/69 and 8316-8318 at Chester-le-Street for the 34. Could even bring back a brand for the 34 as they would only be allocated to that service. That would make sure there's definitely a spare for the 25/28/28A and can't think what other services would need the Versa's at Riverside. That would give Chester 16 compared to the current 18 allocated - if all 18 needed then a couple extra Streetlites could be sourced I'm sure.

That still remains to be the case once repaints and re-allocations are completed, with the eldest Citaros, 5275 - 5283, 5337/38 and 5481 - 5487, all planned for withdrawal. In addition to all those that went to Go North West last year, some of these have already been withdrawn:
  • 5275 (fire damage)
  • 5277
  • 5280
  • 5283
  • 5337
  • 5338 (fire damage)
  • 5481 (scrap/spare parts donor)
  • 5482 (scrap/spare parts donor)
  • 5483 (scrap/spare parts donor)
  • 5485 (scrap/spare parts donor)
  • 5487 (scrap/spare parts donor)

Buses are built and depreciated over a period of 12-15 years. The remaining Citaros are only 13 years old, therefore have an expected life of at least two years yet. The 07-plates are actually being withdrawn a year early (when new, they'd have expected to be withdrawn in 2022).

Have 5276/5278 been withdrawn now? As neither have been out since October 9th according to BusTimes. Also have 6126/7/9 been withdrawn? I know it was said the 03-reg Omnidekka's were going to be leaving but as these didn't go with the original batch I wasn't sure.
6126/7/29 get used on the Scholars 850 service and this doesn't track on BusTimes

6126/7/9 all withdrawn. 5276/8 still in service at riverside. I suggest having a look on the website Quack77 to keep up to date not just with go north east but with most other bus operators as well.

If that’s the information on Quack77, then it’s not to be trusted.

6126/27/29 remain in service at Riverside on a private scholars contract, with 3995 as a spare. Indeed 6126 spent some time on service 57 yesterday.

5276/78 were both withdrawn a couple of weeks ago.

Yes I will admit not everything on this website as accurate, however at the moment  it our only source of regular updates since the go north east website fleet lists have not been updated since 2nd May. I would also mention how many times in the past have vehicles been listed as withdrawn but then still used then are re-instated. Had a look on Quack77 again today and it is now showing 5480 in Voyager livery. Is this true, any pictures, also whats the situation with other re paints.

5480 is on the 1 at Whitley Bay. I'll have a check when it passes Tynemouth. If its ture then I'll be surprised

Had another look at Quack77 and 5480 livery has been altered back to go North East. Also 6065 - 6068 are all now listed as being in X Lines gold/yellow but along with 6069/6070 all still allocated to Percy Main.  Can anyone confirm this and are they inside ready for transfer or being used in service. Iam due a visit to the North East next weekend and will be trying to photograph as many of the re paints as possible.

6069/70 are going to Consett. There's no need for them at Percy Main anymore
