I like the grey. Very happy to see The Loop is back, instead of corporate livery buses on the 93/94. Would be nice to see Orbit 51/52 come back, with a new purple and orange livery. Anything stands out more than corporate.

So the 58 isn't getting new electric buses then? 57 needs replacements for the Citaros.

I have to say I was extemely lucky with my photos as I just literally pulled up into my parking spot and the buses just came along.
Aye, easiest way to get around fast, was killing time for 36093 on the 7.. picked up a lot of rebranded Gemini. Bonus  Big Grin
Oh yeah I was lucky with 36093 on Wednesday, saw it on the 100, just managed to get ahead of it and photoed it next to the old fed breweries, then it was taken off the 100 when it got to the Metrocentre and I managed to photo it again NIS passing the yellow car park.

The added NSAs to those deckers already and think the had a bit of refurbishment before they came up north

Genuinely dislike the grey one.

If Mrs Hinch designed buses...

Consistent.
Agree with you there. Maybe next time round   Tongue

Other than that, they dont look too bad....although a hint of the blandness of C&C coming back I see...probably cant be helped with these having advert frames

Two new brands for the 58, eh?! Wink

No. The Red one is 58. The other is 93/94

I think it was a tongue in cheek remark about both being on the 58 today.
Like the colours of the Loop but unsure on the branding itself.

They should've gone for something like the old Quorum Express branding for the route branding - https://www.flickr.com/photos/68628359@N04/8070160138

If you only used on the circle part and replaced the 4 points with Gateshead, Team Valley, QE, Heworth it'd be much easier to understand as a passer by that it's infact a loop. Be good for the Q1/Q2 aswell if they ever get redone. Right now other than Loop, you can't tell that the 93 goes one way and the 94 goes the other way in a circle.
Is Team Valley seen as being “East Gateshead”?

Not sure why it's even branded "East Gateshead" - not like there's a West Gateshead Loop or anything? I think that "Gateshead Loop" and "Gateshead Rider" would have sufficed...

Clearly a Stenning creation though, has nothing going for it. He should put his colleagues in charge of designing stuff as it's usually less bland.

I'd say everything east of A1 - Team Valley, Felling, QE is in east gateshead, whereas everything west of A1 - Whickham, Blaydon, Winlaton is West Gateshead...
Gallop into Gateshead…wow, that is alliteration at its absolute laziest worst. It’s so so so lazy. We’re hitting Stanley Shuttle territory

East Gateshead Loop is an odd one…I imagine the folk of Windy Nook, Lyndhurst, Beacon Lough, Low Fell, Deckham, Bensham and Gateshead Quays will be somewhat bemused a route is branded after….a small quarter of the route
It's just a branding get over it. At least there getting new branding unlike 58 being ToonLink or CityLink and the 93/94 being plain 2016 corp

This is a bus enthusiast forum, folk are going to have different opinions. Much the same as if you went across to a gaming forum folk will have differing opinions on how good RE8 is, for example. The entire point of forums is to allow for discussion, it would be a very boring place if every time GNE painted a bus everyone just said "Amazing".

Sorry that occasionally folk won't like something GNE do, I know that must be upsetting to hear.
It's not that. It's just a name of a branding. I don't see why it's such a big complain
