And as posted on the Merseyside Dennis Dart forum last night - as a result of these, presently Southport-based Pulsars 3082-8 are earmarked for cascade to the North East. These are slightly older than the last batch cascaded from the North West fleet (1524-33 are 12 plates, these are 61 plates) and are amongst some of the few remaining examples in the North West and Wales fleet to retain the 'interurban' livery.

Any idea on where they will be based?

Jesmond according to the same post. Assuming it will sort out the Solos which are on the 52/53/54 daily lately and see off the last of the B7's.

Interesting to see that. Could it be a pvr for the 306?
It has also been mentioned on Facebook they could be heading for Durham

Durham is the main one I've heard but no clue for certain, someone suggested Redcar too but I doubt that.

I still wouldn't rule out anything else heading to Darlington to send the 67 plate Lites to Jesmond myself but will just have to see on that front.

Jesmond don't need more StreetLite. We have enough already  Sick
Doubt they'd go to redcar, unless they replace the 59 reg buses. Darlington be a better shout to withdraw the scanics.
A number of the Solo's at Durham haven't been used in quite a while (since the temporary PVR reductions on the 6/64). At this point Solo's aren't really suitable for any of Belmont's services, so if they went there to replace them, coinciding with those PVR's re-increasing, that would make sense. I imagine Arriva will be due more cascades to replace the remaining Omnicities, B7 Gemini's and the similar excess of Solo's at Jesmond over the course of this year.

I'm led to believe they're also due a fairly substantial new vehicle order, which is likely to see off many of the older vehicles you mention.

Wish same could be said at Darlington who are allocating a Solo on the 7 most days lately owing to the deckers being required on some 1/5/5A/X1 & X26/X27 boards further messed up by gas buses being away and StreetLite's being... StreetLite's (1590-94 + 1602/04/11/12/13 all off today, 1591/93 & 1612/13 have been off for a month now).

If that's true then it'll be some long overdue new vehicles for Arriva North East. Aside from those I mentioned before, hopefully we might also see the ALX400's go from Belmont cause they're 17-ish years old now.

The Solo's at Darlington was another one I was thinking about. You'd hope once the Ecocity's are done and at least some of those Streetlites are mended it shouldn't be as bad tbf. Also those Omnilinks have hardly been used so wonder what's going on there. I suppose with some of the Omnicities already withdrawn and the PVR decreases on the town services the Solo's have unfortunately filled the void. Perhaps when the rest of the Omnicities go a couple of extra full size single decks could be transferred in.

I certainly hope things improve soon, 7 is becoming the bane of my life lately, yesterday two trips cancelled and then a Lite turns up and having to stand with 3 people invading my space which eventually led to me falling to the floor going round a roundabout owing to me being left with nothing to hold onto and woman f-ing and blinding at me.

About ready to give up on using public transport as its becoming more hassle than its worth, previous night got home an hour late due to another cancelled 22 making me miss the connection with the hourly X21 at Peterlee.

New vehicles? North East? Blimey, I thought either England would win the World Cup or Newcastle United would win a trophy before Arriva purchasing new vehicles.

Still has Southport Links branding over door
An update to the Pulsars

A driver has told me 10 were confirmed to come up here. Then it changed to 8. Now for some reason the fleet now stands at 1537-1543. Meaning only 7 will be in service at Jesmond

1539/1540/1542 are sitting at the depot and have had battery's disconnected so won't enter service anytime soon
1539 and 1540 entered service on 31/03, just leaving 1542 to enter service at Jesmond. Does the entry into service of these buses mean imminent withdrawal of the last Volvo B7TL at Jesmond? I am not fully up to date with what is going on there with the Volvos but I do gather they won't be around for much longer and also I notice 7415 has gone from the bustimes fleet list which is a shame. I hope to ride the Volvo buses before they ;are withdrawn if I can.
