Plaxton Centro 1923 has now entered service at Ashington, was put on 35s thos afternoon is tracking as SP-NE as pulsar 1462 is also tracking as.
Is that a VDL SB200 like a Pulsar? Never been on any Centro before!
It's a VDL SB120, a shorter version, this vehicle along with sister 1924 was new to Ashington depot for the 35.

Ahh OK, so it's a bit different then. Thanks for the information!

It's the same as a Cadet or Volvo Merit (for companies ashamed of buying off Arriva), you might have been on one of them before.

Thanks, that gives me a good idea of what it is as I have been on many Wright Cadets over the years.
Just to note, there was at least 3 buses tracking as Spare Ticket Machine for Ashington on Wednesday, and none of them was 1923.
For the record it was...
1462 - On the 1 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...004072727/
2601 - On the X21/X22! - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...005623560/
7560 - On the X21/X22 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...005099516/

1923 was sat in the depot with a red do not use cover draped over the steering wheel in Ashington depot. - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...004077682/

Believe 1923 did make it out for a run or so on the 1 in the morning, think it was replaced by 7532.

It's now transferred over to redcar back end of last year where it's still in full use too this day
Is there a depot it hasn't been at, now?

Can't remember it ever being at Blyth or Jesmond (Walkergate)
1923 has been working for Stockton on the 15.
Noticed a Plaxton Centro on Walkergate this Monday afternoon. Guessing it must be the much-travelled 1923. A panel was missing on the front under the windscreen - hope it is still a runner and not on its way to Alpha, Weetslade.
I noticed it whilst on a passing metro. Didn't see the windscreen though

You guessed wrong - 1923 was still in service at Stockton on Saturday.

Finally managed to get binoculars on the Centro at Walkergate recently. Turns out it is 1536. Could be a source of spares for Pulsars, I suppose, or a mess room for Arriva staff ?
