Fantastic news, any chance of getting Go North East to bring along some of there current buses that would've operated out of Philadelphia Depot if was operational in present day?
The depot is at the Philadelphia Complex, right? (I think the website mentioned the depot was based there, but it seems to have "expired")

Thanks. Planning on heading over there (since it's conveniently located on the route of the X1)
Another bus confirmed for attending is Leyland Leopard YSF 87S
Saw something on fb earlier about the plans for the Phili site.
This may be the last time an event like this is held there.
The group opened it's doors for it's annual open day with this event being a special one in particular as the former Go-Ahead Northern Philadelphia Depot is due to be demolished in the coming months to make way for a new housing development in the area whilst also raising funds to support NNRG in preserving Leyland National MK2 4681 (UPT 681V) formerly of Go-Ahead Northern.

NNRG are situated just next door to the old bus depot where the shed they use to store there preserved buses was formerly a tram shed.

There were also a few special guests in attendance with the Teeside 500 Group bringing along H106 (RDC 106R) and 223 (M223 SVN), The Eden brought along L14 (PPT 446P) and Strathtay's 25787 (YSF 87S), Seven of the vehicles in attendance also provided heritage rides from the depot to the nearby Herrington Country Park with 25787 providing an exceptional run out from the depot down into Chester-Le-Street via the Go North East 78 route then coming back over all the way to Sunderland via East Herrington and back out via Chester Road.

Aye. Or what was the depot. It's all rubble now.

Got a shock when I drove past a few weeks back.

Philadelphia, in the power station building that is next door to where the bus depot was.

No idea what I specifically saw a year ago, but the entire complex area is to be redeveloped.

Houses, retail and much more apparently.
