Just something I've been trying to work out but everything is allover the place lately. Am I right in saying that the official allocations, on paper, for these two depots are with some of them spares in the blocks:
X7/X8/X9: 1493, 1501 - 1505, 7601 - 7608
X10/X11: 7611 - 7617, 7621
306/308: 1480, 1495, 1496, 1500, 7628 - 7637
43/44/45: 7501 - 7507, 7509, 7522, 7553 - 7556
47: 1499
51/52/53/54/55: 1574 - 1588
Spares / Schools: 1512, 1513, 1542, 1543, 7524 - 7526, 7557, 7558, 7560, 7562, 7620, 7622 - 7625
Obviously in the real world it's just throw anything on anything.

There is no "official allocation" in this sense, best to take fleet numbers out of the equation when thinking about vehicle allocation, depot allocation is done simply on SD/DD/MB numbers. Board allocation is simply vehicle type, obviously depending on vehicle availability.
In the case of Blyth and Walkergate, this is a bit off anyway even if there were allocations this detailed.
X7/8/9: Only 5x single deck boards, remaining 9 are DB300.
X10/11: All DB300.
306/308: No single deck boards. On paper all are DB300/E400.
43: One single deck board (the one Blyth board), the rest should be E400s.
44/45: Two single deck boards, two E400 boards.
51/2/3/4/5: One is Blyth operated so physically can't be a Streetlite. One Walkergate board is booked a decker.
43s are now standalone from the 44/45 during the day, only interworking in the peaks.
7555 isn't a Blyth/Walkergate vehicle either, so that won't be part of it, nor is 1542 officially.

On paper as part of the QA, both GNE (307 & 309) and Arriva (306 & 308) promised to avoid using single deckers on all services unless desperate.
Haven't seen many singles on the 306 & 308 since 26th March but have seen a few StreetLites on the 307.

Yes, hence why I said there are no single deck 306/308 boards on paper.

Thank you for that had a feeling I would be slightly off. I was just trying to work out in theory what the new electrics should be replacing but things are all over the place. Pulsars being allocated the 306/308 and the Enviros appear to be not allocated on the 43 at all since the timetable increase which I had a feeling was wrong on paper.
two Darlington sapphire Streetlites currently at Walkergate
1604&1606 both seen in Haymarket and now with Northumbria legals

1604 is out on the 44 at the moment, I've just followed it through Gosforth. What are they up north for?

Refurbishment cover for 1574-8/81-9. Euro6 vehicles required and with Darlington’s refurbishments all but done (4808 the one waiting to return I believe - seems the refurbishment of the 61 plate Pulsars has now been canned), they can free up two of their Daimler examples for that role.
