Newcastle covers the likes of 18/18A, 32A, M71 etc.

When will find out who's won what?

A number of tenders went out again today - one contract for the 168 and another for double-deck Miscellaneous Works - on one-year contracts instead of the originally-proposed three.

I wonder if the recent North Tyneside tenders could face a similar fate, and that is why no results have been announced yet?

Any idea why?, seems odd, they've changed their mind throughout the last month or so after they went out for tender.

I hope service 592 is awarded to anyone apart from Gateshead Central Taxis, they have improved in allocations without allocating Renault Masters, however continue to deliberately cut sections of the route. What is also worrying, when one of YX07 DXF/E is allocated in place of YX61 BJU they usually don't have ticket machines. I have raised concerns with Nexus previously regarding this service, however only little improvements have occurred.

To start at the same date or later?

The North Tyneside and Newcastle version 2 tenders have a closing date of 23 January with the contract start remaining as 18 March. That does not allow much time to acquire vehicles and recruit drivers.

The K3 bus service has gone out on a standalone tender with a closing date of 17 January.

What is the K3? A new service?
So have GCT won basically everything in North Tyneside? Or lost some services, as it appears they have won the 13, K1/K2 and 359?

K3 will be a new service operating between Four Lane Ends and Forrest Hall.

Cheers. Replacing the 6/7 I'm guessing.

No doubt GCT will win it. Unless Phoenix have retained the W2 and 84/84A they will have no services by the looks of it.

Not looking good for Phoenix then

5 tenders received for North Tyneside & Newcastle with contract values offered to:
Go North East £591,861
Central Taxis Gateshead £270,527
Stanley Travel £138,043

So nothing for Phoenix at this stage although I don't know the result for the K3. Phoenix still have their Nexus School contracts until the end of the 2017/18 academic year.
So whats GNE won
What is the site to check the registrations?

Lost the 40/41 then on evening/sundays?

Or is that commercial anyway (couldn't imagine it being as it's normally empty evening/sundays)
