6043 has been involved in some sort of incident.
Few police cars, 1001 and an Alpha recovery truck on the A66 before M'bro.

Pesky TTX always being in some sort of trouble! Tongue

RE: Go North East - Andreos1 - 20 Jul 2013

A few of the ex-London Tridents in action today. One on the 71 (quite a contrast to last Saturday) and another on the Prince Bishops sounding very rough.

The spare Red Arrow is on the X88 and was struggling up the A1231 at the Mill House earlier today.

RE: Go North East - Dan - 20 Jul 2013

B10BLE 4905 is still on loan to Crook from CLS. Was on OK1s again today.

RE: Go North East - CatsFast101 - 20 Jul 2013

Recently painted 'Northern' MPD 605 on loan from Deptford to Peterlee today, on the 202/265/260 cycle. Worked the 4:31 202 from Seaham.

(20 Jul 2013, 8:02 pm)Liam wrote This is to be branded as part of Go North East's The 'Key' marketing initiative. 'Bus Stop Bingo' is a game where everyone queing at a bus stop would be given a number and if their number was selected, they would win a year’s free travel with Go North East.

Is it April 1st? Please tell me you are making this up HuhHuh

Then again, Arriva did something similar http://www.thisisstar.co.uk/busstopbingo.php

RE: Go North East - Adrian - 20 Jul 2013

I've heard a few people mention that it's going to be 'Real Radio' branded, but again that's just mere speculation.

Arriva did it in Liverpool too - with a station in the same group as Metro Radio.

RE: Go North East - gtom - 20 Jul 2013

Why pick the Radio Station with the lowest listening figures in the region? Huh

Metro would have made more sense, considering the current voice over tie ups and the fact if you discount Radio Newcastle, its got the biggest reach

RE: Go North East - gtom - 20 Jul 2013

I just hope they realise that Bus Stop Bingo is opening themselves up to a world of social media peetaking, especially on their facebook page

RE: Go North East - ... - 20 Jul 2013

How do you know real radio has the lowest listeners? And last time i was on the X1 the breakfast presenters off real radio were on the next stop announcements

RE: Go North East - Adrian - 20 Jul 2013

Without getting into a debate about market share, it's probably worth pointing out that Metro actually has almost 3x the audience share that Real has.

According to those statistics, Metro Radio and Radio Newcastle are reasonably close together, with Capital NE being slightly more popular in terms of numbers. Then again, Capital probably have a younger audience, whereas Metro has more variation. More people probably come to recognise 'Steve and Karen' as familiar voices, compared to 'Bodj, Matt and JoJo' Tongue

RE: Go North East - MurdnunoC - 20 Jul 2013

With the obvious exception of BBC Radio Newcastle, Real, Metro and Capital all sound the same to me (awful). However, if Real is the least listened to out of the three, I guess it makes sense to team up with GNE to boost your ratings. It's a win-win situation, if handled correctly.

haha, that's almost as vague as my reports on here. Speaking of which, an unidentified Hybrid Angel was NIS passing Washington Services on the motorway 30mins ago. It turned off at Chester, presuming it was going back to the depot.

Typing on your phone after being out for 12 hours and then having another 8 or so hours to go just doesn't work greatly! 6065 was the other vehicle being utilised, in addition to 6057 - apologies for any confusion! :p

I do try!! I was unloading into the club and didn't have time to get anymore details!

It's odd that it was bought in the first place. I'm sure they only used it a few times around Christmas, then it's been stored at Ashington or somewhere like that?
