Maybe it's because of all those photos of you sat in drivers cabs!

Well, I've got a trip to the wilds of Newton Aycliffe, next week. I just hope the weather behaves itself, as I have a 20 minute walk, when I arrive, thanks to the way the buses work out. It'll at least give me chance to go powder my nose in Tesco before I arrive.

Yesterday I corrected ESA (European Space Agency) on the up and coming Expedition 47 mission they said Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko would take command of the expedition when I said it was Tim Kopra from NASA who would take command turns out they had an out of date sheet from ESA website and Wikipedia I knew it was Tim Kopra who was gonna be commander checked www.nasa.gov and www.spacefacts.de

Watching The Theory Of Everything.. One of the best movies I've seen.

Its all about when Stephen Hawkins was dignosed with Motor Neuron Disease and when he meet his first wife.

Eddie Redmayne is a brilliant actor.

I must say Eddie Redmayne did a good job playing Hawking...

I would love to know the key to his long life...A dear friend of mine was diagnosed with ALS in mid-2009 and was dead in less 12 months [LOUDLY CRYING FACE]

Theres a couple of films I wanna see next...I saw Dads Army a few weeks ago, I am going to see Eddie The Eagle in a few weeks and I also want to see The Imitation game about Alan Turing starring Benedict Cum-in-your-hatch [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Me too, It could be his own belief that you can do anything, even if he has ALS. I'm sure he quoted something like that in the movie.

Have to give it out to his first wife though and how stuck with him in the many years until they divorced.

One thing i want to do, is to meet him, amazing bloke.

How would scholars get to school, if it is not served by a 'normal' public service, if scholars services were withdrawn?

The school should provide transport if public service vehciles are being trashed

Any particular reason for that opinion?

Not all schools can afford to provide transport for their students.

What? So people don't get an education? Just because you might not one, doesn't mean others share the same opinion.

Stupendous comment to make.

This Biglugs is getting annoying. I'm sorry if I'm "back seat moderating" here but I'm getting sick of his non-constructive comments!

The school should provide transport with the own vehciles instead of public service vehciles alike 6099 which have to do other services after the school run

So the alternatives would be: no buses that run to the schools or normal daytime services getting rammed with school kids on a morning and afternoon. The buses would still be getting trashed whether you have scholar services or not as chances are the kids would still use buses to get to school even without scholar services.

Do you understand the costs of such an operation? Schools have better things to be spending their money on, such as improving school resources.

But what if the schools can't afford to pay for transport?

And where will they find the funding to do that? Especially in a time when cuts to services like you state above are being made because schools can't afford to run a private or dedicated service.

As Marcus said, not all schools have the funds to do this, also it would probably cost more to run and schools do not have the facilities to carry out essential maintenance and checks to ensure that the buses would be safe to carry the students.

The 88 home is busy enough now with visiting time having finished at the Hospital, I have bad memories of a WSS carrying 2 bus loads in Y7.
