Nice shots Jimmi, good to see you made use of both buses out today! It's been a promising first day, so hopefully the service will continues to grow.

Just looking at the timetables there, hopefully it is a success and you can introduce later journeys, even if it is just on a Saturday Smile

Hopefully there will be more services from yous too.

Anyone got one which trumps this one, then?

Not specific to Stagecarriage, But Stagecoach's Walkergate based MAN 223** covered half of a day on the 685 when 27142 developed difficulties en route, It also spent the night at Carlisle Depot too.

One of GNE's Riverside based Olympian's made a appearance on a section of my local route 88A ( The route that avoids the low bridge, So is allowed Double Decker's ) between Lukes Lane and Jarrow, Before being replaced.

This is more like it. A true contender for rarest working of the year.

Nah. Olympians could have feasibly showed up on any route without height restriction. If one showed up on you local route tomorrow then it might be considered a contender for next year.

Meh. It was just a Volvo and not a proper Leyland Olympian. You're not missing much.

I suppose so, But adding the fact the route is mainly restricted to Single Decker's, And that the last decker to appear on it was a Deptford Lolyne around 3 years pervious, It must be pretty rare?

Volvo for me, Probably because they were the norm when I was younger, Leyland's were in a similar position to the B7 President's in that they were spares, But each to there own.

On that basis, can I count Sapphire 7 E400 on service 12 which has a low bridge (was removed before it came to that!) https://flic.kr/p/MRfTh7

Surely this late contender counts as well, with it being a depot loan: https://flic.kr/p/QJfmir

Also Scarlet Band's Durham Park and Ride Solo SR on the 33 was a unexpected sighting: https://flic.kr/p/GxSjTr

Oh and seeing as this is the Stagecarriage thread: https://flic.kr/p/NbHfym

Oh, and I most certainly agree that it has to be a Leyland Olympian rather than a Volvo, my Facebook feed was filled with endless photos of Volvo Olympian's yesterday.

Nope. If the bridge had been removed then its just a normal rare working. However, if the bus had been diverted to accommodate the allocation then yes, that would have been a major contender.

Jimmi wroteSurely this late contender counts as well, with it being a depot loan: https://flic.kr/p/QJfmir

While it is a rare working, loans between Arriva depots happen every now and then. I guess it would depend on the length of the loan and the board it was working.

Unexpected, perhaps. But rare? I can't imagine Scarlet Band's fleet to be that big.

Joining the fleet soon is a third Scania Omnidekka, YV03PZF from Howard's - will become no 27 in our fleet

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - Jatkin - 27 Jan 2017

24 P288VPN and 25 R781SOY have both left the Fleet.

Yeah we used it up until Wednesday morning and then it left us yesterday lunchtime for a new life with a dance group in Manchester. 24 has departed to J&C Coaches although I understand it's due to be converted into a bar at a trampoline place up their way in Aycliffe.

Trident on the 88 yesterday.

Still not letting me post attachments.

I can post attachments fine. What's the issue? Is there an error message? We need a bit more to go on, please.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - tyresmoke - 02 Feb 2017

The next addition to our fleet is Scania Omnidekka YV03PZF, to be numbered 27. We went to pick it up yesterday and it saw use on college route 266 yesterday PM and this morning, but it's gone for repaint now!

I sent the error message to Scott a while back. He said he thought it had been sorted.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - Cock Robin - 28 Feb 2017

Silver Solo has been repainted red (no white relief though!). On 84/X8 today.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - tyresmoke - 02 Apr 2017

The latest addition to our fleet is Scania Omnicity YN54AHF. It takes up fleet number 16, replacing E300  13 X21BUS which has gone the other way to Stafford Bus Centre.
It saw use yesterday in yellow but will soon be repainted.
MPD 10 EU06KOW has recently returned to use after months off the road.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - tyresmoke - 19 Apr 2017

Scania Omnidekka 27 (YV03PZF) has been sold to Mario Coaches, Nelson

Scania Omnicity 16 (YN54AHF) was taken for repaint this morning. It should be joined by another shortly.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown - Cock Robin - 19 Apr 2017

Scanias going already?!

That one was sold as it was seatbelted and not really much use on our school work due to vandalism... we'll replace it with another soon though I'm sure.

16 repainted and now X21BUS

Service 82 between Thornaby and Yarm is to be withdrawn, it's cancelled on VOSA in effect from August 19th 2017, presumably meaning the last day of operation will be August 17th 2017.
