I think the main issue with them is a certain amount of Thoroughbred flakiness, which is more of a problem for the operator than passengers. I always enjoy a ride on them.

It gives the impression of a clumsy driver (as passengers were being thrust forwards and backwards) but it was obviously not the driver at fault.
