The Violet brand will be used for service 61 instead of Blue. All that needs to be changed is the route details on the cant rail of the livery.

I'm pretty sure if Go North East repainted them into fleet livery, one or two on this forum would have something to say.

They are only float/reserve at Deptford covering the ex-Prince Bishops repaints and driver route learning.

They are surplus from Sunday and will therefore leave Deptford.

Depending what happen to the ones on the 41/41A as they really don't need to be on there - there's enough Solos going spare for it, they could all go to Riverside and upgrade the 49/49A to see off the 09 plate Versa's. It's been allocated pretty much everything and anything lately.

I was thinking this, perhaps they could get a Euro 6 upgrade to be used on the 28/29, or moved to CLS for the 34.

There are certain routes around the network which seems to be assigned everything and anything lately,

49/49A, 57, 61, 67, 69.

What will go on 5,9,24 and 26 as the PVR is quite high due to the interworking.

I think it will be a PVR of 17/18

9 & 5 need 8.

24 needs 5.

26 need 4

So 5411-5428. I think there is still 4 Prince Bishops which need painting. However I think 5438-5442 will be spares

There's more than enough Streetlites for it, 5411 - 5428 are all free.

I think that is the full PVR, they might even need another one

I wonder when will the new Prince Bishop livery be updated

Probably just replace the vinyl so it only shows sunderland - durham and replace any missing or worn vinyl panels to tidy them up, they really dont need a full re paint yet and now the pvr is significantly less it wouldn't take long to do them if they did

(20 Jul 2022, 5:05 pm)Drifter60 wrote You’ve got remember the current 4 bph to Sunderland on the 61/62 is being halved into 2 bph. So dropping to a solo as well, would be a real decrease in overall capacity. Whilst the 61 may not be loading huge numbers, if you put them people onto a solo it may suddenly ‘look’ a lot busier.
Wasn't suggesting they use solos - they already get a bit cozy even in the day. I just don't think even with the frequency reduction it'll need a full-sized bus.

The recent timetables for the Prince Bishop did have a different version of the livery including purple road stripes, so I would imagine that to be the latest version of the livery

There are some journeys on 41/41a which need something bigger than a Solo. I don’t use the 41a that much but the times that I have it’s had a pretty good load, especially mornings towards Wallsend.

(18 Jul 2022, 10:29 pm)DeltaMan wrote A big issue for me is not showing folk how they could get to parts of Sunderland that GNE don't serve. GNE are the minority operator after all. I don't see why they couldn't have shown Stagecoach routes for the areas they don't serve with an advert for the Smartzone pass.

Midland Classic do this in Burton. Ironically, so do Reading Buses....

It'd be nice. I recall there was a smartzone map at one point which did show the different services, but they seem to have been replaced with boundary maps.

It's still available on the Stagecoach website... and is comically out of date

Since this appears to be after the 22 and 24 were swapped around and before the X36 was withdrawn, I'm assuming this is from 2015/6?
