I see a Scania double deck has now being produced with MMC bodywork.....hopefully GNE might get this as a demo.

Do the X30 and X31 actually interwork? I saw 5241 doing 3 consecutive journeys yesterday morning and all three were on service X30.

I wonder if NE1/Alive after 5 (or whatever it is called these days), decide to get involved?
In a similar vein to the way the radio stations all jumped on the bandwagon.
Just need 'the original' Radio Newcastle livery back!

Yes - Dan said that one of the only services not to use its normal allocation will be the 47 as it will be operated out of Stanley as opposed to Riverside. I think Northern Omnidekkas were said to be operating the service at some point?

Any other 'wrong brand' allocations will merely be double-deck vehicles covering on services which are expected to see high passenger numbers.

However, on a night, vehicles which have operated service X31 during the day end up operating service X30.
