I might if that's the times.

Confirmation from Arriva's Facebook, seems pointless considering some of the Vehicles have been Branded for almost 2 Weeks.

Maximum impact? What, by putting the vehicles all over the shop? #Marketingfailsonneb

Not defending them here but is it possible that since it hasn't launched yet they think they can throw them on anything?

(28 Aug 2014, 7:41 am)mb134 wrote I think 7514-21 all are tachographed, I've seen quite a few on X15/18 in the past so I would assume most if not all have tachographs. As for 7501-13 (minus 7510) they are all tachographed, don't think 7522-7528 have any reason to be as they should only be on X21/22.
I don't think Arriva will be ordering any E400 MMC anytime soon. (What profitable routes can they be put on that aren't already operated by half decent deckers anyway)

7501-21 (minus 7510) are all tachographed, as 7529-33 will be.

Noticed that they hit c instead of the space bar in that post.

Don't think I will go as I don't have a good selection of evening bus services. Also some are already in service fully branded so it seems a bit pointless.

I have yet to Photograph the MAX Vehicles Branded so i'm not to bothered, But I fear Arriva may only bring 1 Vehicle to the Launch, rather than the full batch, but I could be wrong.

I doubt they will bring all of them, perhaps they may only take about 4 or 5 like the X21/X22 Sapphire launch.

I hope you're kidding. I'm the Pope if Blyth can get a full batch of MAX vehicles in the right place at the right time.

They are however branded for services X10/X11. Doubt any other rule should apply MAX hasn't been launched yet. Plus if they were all allocated to different routes, lack of buses to replace them other than those hybrids...now I have mentioned the hybrids I'll stop there Smile

If the two Solo's on the 171 are not suitable for the huge passenger numbers, is there a potential plan to replace the Solo's with another model and perhaps return the Solo's to Darlo? Maybe use Temsa's or ALX400's?

I'd say swapping two Solos with two Pulsars would work.

Likely see the Solos stay at Whitby instead to replace 1101-5 if NYCC decided to use larger vehicles instead of just increasing the frequency and drafting in more Solos.

730-830pm?! It'll be getting dark!

Why does your search function only work if four characters long, so can't search for a 3 digit fleet number?

Wrong. It's now back at Whitby.

Was on 22/64s yesterday and replaced by 4703 at 1545, is it out on towns today?

Not unusual for typical bulletin board software.

Because of the additional load it can put on SQL (database). It's also why there's a search throttle in place too.

There are far more three-digit 'words' than four-digit 'words'.

By restricting the number of digits (to four) the 'computer' has fewer operations to make with fewer answers.

If you allowed a search on just one digit you would get a considerable number of answers, most of which would be false.

Two digits eases the situation, and three moreso, and four makes the computational 'load' tolerable.

Edited to add:-

SQL = Structured Query Language (Click) which is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (which is a table of words that constitute this forum).

What's a search throttle?!

You can only perform a search every 30 seconds.
