RE: Anything and Everything - BusLoverMum - 05 Dec 2015 Tees flyover's shut for the night, now. I guess they're not taking any risks when there's anough ongoing incidents to be dealing with. http://m.highways.gov.uk/website/#news RE: Anything and Everything - NK53 TKT - 05 Dec 2015 (05 Dec 2015, 5:55 pm)DanPicken wroteGosh! RE: Anything and Everything - Andreos1 - 05 Dec 2015 Durham is looking bad! RE: Anything and Everything - BusLoverMum - 05 Dec 2015 (05 Dec 2015, 9:44 pm)Andreos1 wrote Durham is looking bad! Not unexpected. Thankfully, most (not all) of the newer buildings along the riverbank have vaults under them - usually car parks or something that don't get destroyed by wet. The Radisson has had a few close calls, mind, with water coming up towards the top of the steps. Perhaps he's a troll RE: Anything and Everything - Michael - 06 Dec 2015 Wonder how much aid other countires will send over for Cumbria... probables fuck all. RE: Weather - Michael - 06 Dec 2015 Advice for any away fans thinking of travelling to Carlisle United's Brunton Park: Don't. https://twitter.com/awaygamesinfo/status/673511499630059521 Might take a few weeks for it to clear. RE: Weather - Michael - 06 Dec 2015 From Carlisle United Facebook page: Just speaking to club captain Danny Grainger on the team bus. A lot of concern from the lads about all those affected by this weekend's events up in Cumbria and the Borders. Every member of the squad has agreed that they want to help, if at all possible, so they have spoken to manager Keith Curle, and it has been agreed that we will all be available after training on Tuesday to help out in any way possible. Clearing furniture, cleaning, tidying - anything that is needed and that will help. Contact us on media@carlisleunited.co.uk if you think the lads can help you with your situation #oneteam #cufc #community #staypositive RE: Weather - LeeCalder - 06 Dec 2015 Well earlier, myself, Sam Tillson, Gary Hunter and Scott Atkinson went on a little adventure that took us as far as Stanhope and Alston. Getting there proved difficult, as we had to cross a few 'Fords', one of which was quite swollen.... This is Guessburn near Stocksfield.... It looks like there's still a lot more water to come downstream. RE: Weather - LeeCalder - 07 Dec 2015 (06 Dec 2015, 9:03 pm)Adrian wrote Brave or daft? Most certainly brave The sign to the far left suggests that the water is no deeper than 1 foot, however it was certainly deeper than that! You lot would have had a canny wait. Weather - Jimmi - 12 Dec 2015 Seriously, if it could have snowed any other day in December after today (excluding December 27th) I wouldn't have had a problem with it snowing, but now it's looking likely that I have spent money for gig tickets and being unable to go. WHY TODAY?! RE: Weather - S813 FVK - 12 Dec 2015 (12 Dec 2015, 12:44 pm)Michael wrote Snowing in Sunderland now =D It is lying here. The rain wasn't that heavy though.
