Not sure how much things like insurance are for this type of thing but they probably made a couple hundred in profit per day. It certainly was a lifeline for many. Two of my friends were relieved when the service started as the cost of getting to work was so high using taxi's that they really were starting to worry about how to pay the rent etc. Let's just say the words Go Ahead are banned from their house now!
