It'd be interesting to see how they compare to the previous Euro 5 versions. Wouldn't mind a trip to London but I would probably not like to go on my own. Would quite like to get some photos outside of the North East. I quite like the article title - 'bus waiting times set to soar'. In some instances, they're talking about the reduction of a night bus service from every 10 minutes to every 20 minutes. Not to mention that the service is being replaced by a tube service. That's the benefit of an integrated transport network though. I do disagree with the way that Boris & co are trying to implement the 24-hour tube service, but I do recognise that it will improve public transport for the majority. If they can implement it with a deal that is fair to both the staff and the public, then it's got to be a winner. The two Irizar i2 vehicles, El1 (YP15NLM) and El2 (YP15NLN), have also recently entered service on routes 507 and 521, but I'm not sure if these are planned to release anything for cascade (if they haven't already). As the withdrawal date for single deckers which aren't DDA-compliant is 1 January 2016, there's no chance of some of Go-Ahead London's Mercedes Citaros transferring to Go North East for use on service 57 within the coming months...
