If permanent what is likely to take its place?

It'll be temporary until the AD122 re-starts in March, then it should go back to Hexham. It'll probables replace a MPD at Deptford though.

(04 Nov 2016, 5:37 pm)Dan wrote The frequency remains at every 7/8 minutes at peak times on weekdays - in my eyes, this would be the best frequency to promote.

It wouldn't be wrong to promote this frequency, if the words "up to" were included.

I suppose providing the 'up to' was there, which it is, it would perfectly fine to advertise the mentioned frequency. I was just thinking that it would be best to advertise the frequency that is operated under the most.

7 - Red Solar's for the 39
7 - Fast Cats
2 - X36
6 - Service 9

Leaves no spares with current allocations.
Scania's 4961, 4962, 4963 & 4964 are transferring to Deptford this weekend.

Mint, least we'll have spares but then Percy Main won't have spares for the Blue Arrow.

The B10's should also be going from Percy Main too unless that's changed with Deptford getting the 2 Scania's.

I would think the B10s would stay to be honest - for now at least until replacements can be found for the 2 Scanias.

(04 Nov 2016, 7:04 pm)Michael wrote Nice to see it back at Deptford, i think the brand will turn a few heads.

What will it be allocated to?

It will be allocated to service 238 for the time being.

(04 Nov 2016, 7:11 pm)Tom wrote What will the 9 be allocated from Sunday then?

Corporate liveried Scania L94s. The new service 9 has a PVR of 6 and should be allocated the existing corporate liveried Scania L94 at Deptford (4936, 4937, 4945, 4946, 4954, 4955) or the Scania L94s joining the fleet this weekend all being well (4961, 4962, 4963, 4964). Service 38 should also be allocated one of these Scania L94s.

Other services at Deptford which are allocated Scania L94s are:

Service 39 - 4969, 4976, 4990, 4991, 4992, 5213, 5213.
Service X35 - 5204 - 5209, 5211

The above Scania L94s are all Euro 5 and hence should be covered by 4989, 5214 or 5215 in the event that any branded vehicle is VOR.

(05 Nov 2016, 9:15 am)Tom wrote And only 2 spares for the 1. Plenty of B7s on the 1 and 11 then, great! More moaning people.

Only two spares for service 1, but Percy Main are only allocated two dedicated spares for the Coaster at present anyway? So no difference there.

The spares for Blue Arrow 11 will become Volvo B7RLEs - from Sunday, two of these are now spare on weekdays. So, again, it's no different to the present situation (as 4963 and 4964 are the only spares for the Blue Arrow 11 at the moment).

1 Omnicity has gone/going to Washington, the other should follow soon, so the B10's should remain as Tom said.

Which i like forgot about.

I've literally just deleted my post haha.

5248/9 to Washington (presumably - 5248 for definite) and 4963/4 to Deptford is the 4 vehicles so the B10s shouldn't be going anywhere yet.

I would imagine with the 238 getting 635 and the 38 allocated a Scania, Deptford will lose a MPD or 2?

Will we finally see the 33 and 39 branded this month? haha

No - Deptford's PVR increases by 6 this weekend, so no vehicles will be withdrawn.

I am unsure when service 33 and 39 will be branded, but ex-Thames Travel Solo 698 has been repainted into the same red base livery as the new Solo SR on service 33 and the Scania L94s on service 39. Perhaps the reason why they haven't been branded yet relates to the fact it'll be a launch of the network as a whole, when all services which are going to be encompassed within this brand have the appropriate vehicle allocation ready? I keep saying there's a reason for everything happening (or not happening, in this case!) which mightn't be clear to enthusiasts on the outside looking in!

Washington's PVR reduction (as a result of the Monday - Friday daytime frequency of service X1 being reduced from 10 minutes to 12) will allow a Volvo B7TL to transfer to Stanley, enabling the withdrawal of a further Volvo Olympian from the fleet.

Yes, that's right.

The arrival of 5248 and 5249 at Washington will allow 4961 and 4962 to transfer to Deptford from Washington. This allows a standardisation of vehicle types at Washington, and most services will have one of the same type which provides consistency for passengers too, when the branded vehicles are unfit for service.

Ahhh so i guess the 38/237/238 is joining the proposed brand then, as it was said a few months ago, the 237/238 will be getting the solo's, can't leave the 38 out haha

AND NO, ITS NOT BLOODY INDIGO, it'll be a different brand!............ hopefully "Black Cats" Tongue

(05 Nov 2016, 9:56 am)S813 FVK wrote And i guess 6141/2 will allow another 2 B7s to transfer over?

Correct!

6142 arrived at Washington earlier this week and is having some defects repaired following inspection prior to entering service. Was hoped to get it on the road today, but that was dependent on a part being delivered.

6141 will probably leave Saltmeadows Road towards the middle of next week.

Solo 705 has had its Hanover destinations fitted/wired up, repainted, branded, and it's had an interior vallet. There's a few more internal modifications to complete but this should be ready to head to Washington next week too.

(05 Nov 2016, 9:57 am)Tom wrote Thanks Dan - forgot about the B7RLEs. Are 4915/7/9 being withdrawn from Percy Main then?

Nothing's happening with the Volvo B10BLEs - all three are still required on weekdays for Misc Works.

On Saturdays when four Volvo B7RLEs are allocated to service 19 (the Hadrian's Wall Solo is instead allocated to service 434), Percy Main should use the Volvo B10BLEs to cover for branded buses on the Blue Arrow 11.

Yes - there's an ongoing programme for all Scania L94s, so that these buses aren't as cold during the winter months.

The work for the south division is being undertaken at Chester-le-Street.
