The WF and E200s currently do scholars trips, I'm not sure if JH are still doing those from September though. Expect from being on scholars for a while the interiors are probably a bit of a state.

It was grouped with the 45 and 47, I believe. 45 went to Gosforth Park while the 47 terminated somewhere in Fawdon.

All three were operated by Tyne and Wear PTE.

I think it passed over from Tyne and Wear PTE to United sometime in the early 80s, probably coinciding with the renumbering of the 397/398.
