Agree, Its gone from bad to worse with now Daily train withdrawing's and Technical Fualts.
Nexus only Refurbished already Life Expired Units so they didn't have to ask for more funding from Government, Which would probably would've gotten rejected.

Though that is starting to bite back now.

Something to note is we never got extra Metrocars for the Sunderland line and we were meant to have 120 metro cars and Platforms capable of having 3-car trains.

Tyne and Wear Metro

Remember if you are travelling this Sunday, 28th February, there are no trains between Airport & South Gosforth in both directions all day. A frequent bus replacement service will be operating. This is to allow us to carry out modernisation work to track drainage and track maintenance on the level crossing at Callerton.

A 57 minute wait for a Metro.

Well obviously there is not a 57min wait for a metro, that train will never arrive as the service is suspended between Benton and North Shields., I'm not sure where that photo is taken but a train will pop up on the boards which is a lot closer when it leaves North Shields station. Thats the constant fault of Nexus in years and years gone by in that whenever there is a possession, instead of alterating the destinations, they leave it exactly the same thus you get situations appearing on the board like the one above! I know they trialled it for the major line closures but I don't understand why they don't follow it up, especially when Benton is listed in the destination blinds.
