But you love primo's.

RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley - tyresmoke - 15 Jul 2015

Is there anything the gold livery doesn't suit?!
Out of interest any idea who the DLA next to it (DLA142) is for?

I am told the new Levante's for NX work are due to be delivered imminently too.

RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley - JHCoaches - 15 Jul 2015

LeeCalder - Give our Primo a try. It's a lovely bus.

primos are not bad little buses better then a solo

I'm sorry, but they are not better than a Solo. All Primo's do is rattle, shake and break down. Whereas Solo's are constant performers.

RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley - omnicity4659 - 19 Jul 2015

I bet it's better than a Phoenix Solo held together with duct tape, Lee...!

Had it on for a year now and I'm surprised nowt has fallen off it yet at the high speeds between Ashington and Linton. The handlebars, bells and the window behind that driver was all held together with black duct tape.

RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley - jaimzm - 21 Jul 2015

When do they start service 23

Oh yeah it's brilliant.....

It's the driver I'll miss the most. He's called Dougie and he's a lovely bloke. Know's all of his passengers.

But, I have to give this Primo a try. Undecided

Aye - he is a canny bloke. Thats the good thing with Stanley Travel - they allocate the same driver to the same service every day so after a while, all regulars will know him and he will know all regulars. I think he does every other Saturday with the old driver of the 706/707/708 around Stanley.

I think I may sample the JH Coaches Primo on the service one day next week, especially as I have yet to ride a Primo.

JH, Are you getting any new double decker's this year? Since you have withdrawn some DAFs.

RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley - JHCoaches - 23 Jul 2015

Hi
Yes we have two more Dennis double deckers on order to join the fleet prior to schools going back in September, plus the Primo for the 23 route.
