Trespassing - Tom - 29 Oct 2013

Looks nice, but looks like someone has been in the depots... again!

He claims in the photo summary to be outside. Who are we to doubt (without proof).

Well we can't say HE has for sure however the fact that no one else has been able to capture said bus and comments which suggest it was impossible to get such photo from outside the gates- I think we can draw our own conclusions.

Yeah, there is about a 1 in 100 chance that was taken outside of the gates.

I seem to fail to grasp the concept of these accusations towards Bazza and whether he was in the grounds of the Depot or not, Yet if it was Liam, Sean Blair or Matt Williamson for example who had took the photo absolutely nothing would of been said otherwise. It's no wonder I don't go down Saltmeadows any more as this is exactly what happened every single time and I personally think it is Pathetic.

RE: Go North East - Latest - Adrian - 29 Oct 2013

This thread really isn't the place for this argument. If it needs to happen, feel free to discuss it further in the off topic forums.

Go for a pint and wait for all this to blow over...

Anyway it looks good, cant wait to ride them

Well I'm sorry, I would question photos by anyone I thought were possibly obtained through trespassing. If I remember correctly wasn't Matt Williamson question just the other week on this issue? And I personally question a photo by Liam but comments later seemed to indicate that I jumped to the wrong conclusions, at the time however I didn't question Liam on it as I wasn't on NEB that day. However the fact that Bazza has a reputation of this kind of incident doesn't help does it?

RE: Go North East - Latest - Rapidsnap - 29 Oct 2013

I'm sorry for continuing this on here, but it will be the only thing I want to say about it as I feel as it does need saying.

Bazza is now of dubious reputation mainly for past incidents of tresspass and repeatidly sending emails / letters full of lies to bus companies which nearly resulted in drivers getting sacked.

Bus enthusiasts have enough trouble as it is being seen in a negative light by certain people. And doing things like this is making it worse. Unfortunatley Bazza isn't alone in this. We had one person who has posted indecent images, along with lying, being an instrument in a criminal act (theft from a bus depot) and along with tresspassing. Another two trampy looking ones were also caught a few weeks ago tresspassing in Saltmeadows depot, and these two people should really know better since I believe they are both 45+.

RE: Go North East - Latest - Malarkey - 29 Oct 2013

For the sake of this Argument, If Bazza had stood on the line of where the Gate is open, I know fine well from doing it in the past he could quite easily get a photo from that spot by simply using the zoom feature on his camera, and i'm pretty sure Bazza's Camera has 24x Optical/Digital Zoom as it was a camera I had looked at before I got my new one today.

Bus enthusiasts have enough trouble as it is being seen in a negative light by certain people. And doing things like this is making it worse. Unfortunatley Bazza isn't alone in this. We have Richard "Kenko" Tiplady who has posted indecent images, along with lying, being an instrument in a criminal act (theft from a bus depot) and along with tresspassing. Another two Kevin Barrass and Andrew Calvert were also caught a few weeks ago tresspassing in Saltmeadows depot, and these two people should really know better since I believe they are both 45+.

I think the forum is straying into dangerous grounds with the naming and accusing of individuals who may or may not be members of the forum and therefore in a position to respond.

If people feel strongly that they have proof that trespassing has occurred would it not be more productive to either PM the member in question, or an admin e.g. to request the link be removed from the forum, or to report this to the bus company? I don’t see any point in throwing around accusations in the forum and think maybe an admin should draw this conversation to a close.

Well thanks for clarify that and if that is the case then that is by all means fine. I noticed on your flickr links on the other thread that you had a new camera, your photos are looking really good.

The gate that is open is on depot land. The depot boundary is where the no entry sign is and according to several other photographers the zoom isn't what it adds up to be.

this was where i was when i took the photo in that yellow circle no further no less

RE: Go North East - Latest - Rapidsnap - 29 Oct 2013

If you were there. Then you were tresspassing.

As show by the aerial photo. I have marked the depot boundary lines. Go beyond the yellow lines then you are tresspassing in the depot.

No doubt many others would agree with me on that matter. Those have been the boundary lines for many years.

Mod Note: Time for this conversation to be put to bed now guys... if you want to continue the conversation please take it to the PM system.

Please can we get back to the topic of Go North East fleet now, and not about a specific incident...

Thanks CatsFast101, Bargain for £50 in Asda, Compared to Argos/Curry's/PC World who are selling it for £80, I am quite pleased with how they have came out, took me ages to figure out how to zoom in and out as there isn't a button, You have to twist this metal ring which is attached to the button you'd press to take a photo.

As for Saltmeadows I rest my case to be honest, time to move on from this topic now I think.

Think you'll find your wrong, here is another photo where the lines are marked clearly and they show bazza did not trespass

Adam, the depot boundaries are marked as where the blue "No Entry" signs are on the outer (not inner) fence.
As said before if you wish to discuss this further please use the PM function.

The boundary line is level with the public footpath. The concrete surface is the company area. The lines you are quoting are not the boundaries but stop lines for buses using the one way system for exiting and arriving.

All that effort to create a fake profile, dig for photos on flickr and then balls it up at the very end, by saying you were trespassing on public property and then spell thanks wrong...

Ee that's hilarious!
Bringing this to the company's attention is just going to spoil people taking photos.
However, the two alleged trespassers, can you clarify how you achieved such shots?

RE: Depot trespassing - Rapidsnap - 30 Oct 2013

Oh jesus christ. This kid seriously needs to get a life. He is doing himself no favours doing stuff like this. He's been told before and never learns.

And if he is reading this. Don't bother trying to threaten me with This is such and suchs dad i'm a policeman stop picking on my son crap. I know fine well your dad isn't a policeman. You have done this before to many of my friends, especially after the Metrocentre Rally where you sent several messages.

You causing trouble will cause more and more people to hate you.

Your best course of action is to shut up, accept that you tresspassed in the depot. And keep a low profile because you are really peeing off a lot of genuine enthusiasts.

As for the photos by Sean and Liam in the fake profile you created (to get another person into trouble), they were definatley on the public highway as stated by Liam. Photos of Bay 3 onwards are possible from the main road by the first gate. Bay 1 & 2 are only really possible from the second gate on company property. I would vouch for them two as I know fine well they are good enthusiasts who try and not get people into trouble unlike you have done.

RE: Depot trespassing - MurdnunoC - 31 Oct 2013

Looking at the broad scope of photography, I don't necessarily have a problem with photographers going to extremes to get their shots. Some of the world's best, shocking, or revealing imagery has been taken either undercover or against the wishes of those wishing to conceal things that they don't wish the world to see. However, I don't think the above qualifies for those wishing to take photographs of buses - a rather mundane subject (to most) that people see everyday.

It seems exclusivity is a factor when over-enthusiastic enthusiasts decide to trespass on private property to take shots of new buses (or buses adorned in new vinyls/livery). If this exclusivity was taken out of the equation, would the problem still exist?

A simple solution, and one that I would suggest to any 'insiders' reading this forum, would be for bus companies to take the first photographs and post them via Facebook or Twitter. This would take the exclusivity out being the first to photograph new buses, and, perhaps, might deter those who choose to trespass in order to get these shots.
