I note that the PVR of the TEN increases with these changes, and I anticipate that 3942 could consequently re-gain "TEN" branding - this time closer to the version carried by the Volvo B9s. This is mere speculation though.

It is the correct Weardale. If you click on the 'Roof of England' link it takes you a description of the service including last years' timetable.
