RE: 2015/16 Football Season - Andreos1 - 20 Jun 2015

IOR have found new owners (again) - with Ken Hodcroft stepping down immediately.

No news as to who the new owners at the Vic are.

Gary Owers has been revealed as Malcolm Crosby's assistant at the International Stadium.

According to the HUFC website, a more detailed statement is due to be released on Monday. However the Mail are reporting that JPNG Global, a recruitment company with offices in Dubai and London are believed to be behind the takeover

Wonder if this one goes through?! Wink

I suppose time will tell with it. IOR pulled the plug on the proposed takeover to TMH due to them having concerns about the long term future of the club. Even though there's a lot of anti-IOR people in Hartlepool who will be glad to see the back of Hodcroft, if it wasn't for him bankrolling us for the last 17/18 years, then chances are we wouldn't be an established FL club who are financially sound.

It is a good thing what IOR/Hodcroft is doing, they could have just cut and run and left you at the mercy of TMH...I actually respect IOR for coming back and saying 'No, it ain't going to happen like this'...

Despite that, I still hate Hartlepool

Not in the UK but Italy:

BREAKING: Parma have been declared bankrupt. They will have to start from the amateur leagues again. Massive shame.

Heard they were in €200M debt to.

Sad news such a shame, was once a decent team!

Let's see what the future brings and what they can bring to the table, that Hodcroft didn't think the other group could.

I'd be scared if that came up to me never mind the children, it looks utterly terrifying.

I thought it looked more like the sun from the Teletubbies on drugs myself.

RE: 2015/16 Football Season - LeeCalder - 22 Jun 2015

I can confirm one piece of news - intu Metrocentre will be Gateshead FC's main sponsor next season.

And I can pretty much confirm that - James Marwood is expected to be a Gateshead player again within the next week
