So keep an eye out on the DFDS! Hopefully in a better state now than it was when it arrived at the weekend. Suspension was in a bad way so couldn't be stuck on the pits for PSV test prep, some of the flooring apparently quite dubious too. Shame internal refurbs don't go the full hog like they used to. It should be going to Washington along with 5249 for spares for the 5/50 allowing the Scania's to move else where RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2016 - Ds1197 - 01 Nov 2016 (01 Nov 2016, 9:17 pm)Michael wrote It could be repainted in to new livery before transferring over? Go North East don't really have any branded spares any more - that's not the strategy - the small number of services that do are mainly the minibus networks, or the bus has become spare following a PVR reduction. It contained an image of the completed corporate livery on a Scania L94 - this can be seen below: The new livery was designed by Newcastle design agency, Beacon, who have developed many of Go North East's route brands and work with global brands such as Disney. I think it looks half finished. A big space with nothing in it, makes you think there's something missing... |
