Presumably it is because of the World Cup and the FA bringing the final forward. Hopefully the North East teams can progress. RE: fa cup draw - Rapidsnap - 08 Dec 2013 3rd round has always been at the beginning of January with the 4th round towards the end of January. Yeah, that's right. My mistake RE: fa cup draw - MrFozz - 13 Dec 2013 (08 Dec 2013, 11:09 pm)andreos1 wrote Yeah, that's right. It is always first Saturday in January, unless New Year falls on a weekend...apart from of course 1999/2000 when the third round was played in December Here is a question, who are the only team to lose an fa cup tie and still go on to play in the next round? And why? It could be a bad day for the North East... Cardiff wont be easy for Newcastle and Carlisle has banana skin written for Gus and the boys...Middlesbrough could take Hull and cant see the Chimp Chokers getting past Coventry in there replay... Bet Gateshead would have been up for a trip to Charlton if they had beaten Oxford and able to have beaten Wrexham, I would have turned out for that, The Valley is high on my grounds to do, the away end is named after my greatX3 uncle |
