I don't think they are Euro 6.

They're currently Euro 4, but presumably since GNE already have plenty of Euro 6 B9s, it wouldn't be too difficult to get them modified
RE: 6x ex-Lothian Buses Volvo B9TL on loan from Ensign Bus
GNE only has like 2 or 3 of the Ex Lothian Geminis as others got sent back.
I would think they would get sent to Consett for Scholars as that is where they have been since Arrival.
I personally love these over the Ex London B7TL's
RE: 6x ex-Lothian Buses Volvo B9TL on loan from Ensign Bus
All 6 as mentioned by Dan have be brought. They are no doubt being refurbished before being put back into service.

Assuming it's the same six we had, I hazard the guess these are the fleetnumbers
6177 SN57 DFJ (9056)
6178 SN57 DFP (9057)
6179 SN57 DFU (9058)
6180 SN57 DFV (9059)
6181 SN57 DFX (9060)
6182 SN57 DFY (9061)

They are Euro 4, if they were upgraded to Euro 6 would it make money wise a efficent choice.

If bustimes is to be believed, 6180 has entered service today on a variety of Chester-le-Street services.

It was on the X22/Scholars 886 or 889? then 2 runs of the evening 91 with it finishing on the last X1A out of Newcastle.

I love the interior, the Scott Monument so prominent gives me memories of my time living in Edinburgh. Theyā€™re well looked after by Lothian too as opposed to that utter rubbish from theĀ Go Ahead subsidiaries in North Yorks, BrightonĀ and London

All six have been upseated, belted, fitted with free Wi-Fi and next stop announcements.

Oh GNE got all 6?
I thought they only were getting the 4?

6177, 6179 and 6182 all appear to have entered service Wednesday 22nd at Chester-le-Street, while 6180 has returned to Washington. (All taken from bustimes, not my own observations).

More surprisingly, has 5236 really returned to service at Riverside ?

Without a doubt a ticket machine error. I believe the driver training vehicles aren't legally PCVs anymore so they can't be used in serviceĀ (not 100% sure)

I'm on one of the Voyager B9s now, and I must say I'm very impressed (at least with 6179).

There's virtually no rattles other than one coming from the cab, they're quite comfy (despite the seats not being too clever, but still better than the seats on the E200/E400s!) And they've got plenty of power, they're seeming limited to 50, but I get the impression they can go much faster. Certainly didn't struggle on the banks from Bishop to Durham like the B5s do

They are lovely vehicles, Lothian could teach our 3 about looking after a bus

The ones which came to GNE are they being updated to Euro 6.

And anyone know what is happened with all the Voyager branded buses they seem to just be in regular services every day
