Chowdene bank is open, traffic is being diverted off the A1 southbound that way.

Unless it cuts through the Sainsburys car park, it ain't going to be able to get on to Kingsway though.

Id imagine the 28A/29 will go via Hertford and Smithy Lane past St Andrews Church to rejoin normal route.

Though the 28B just tracked on the normal route according to the app

Wistfully stuck in the 90s

Didn't the 29 go that way originally way back when?

They are - Gateshead bound they appear to be going along Saltwell Road South and entering the Team Valley via Eastern Avenue (then normal route via Retail World)

Heworth bound the same - they  are just missing the section between the Gold Medal and Sainsburys so shouldn't delay you too much

I'm sot sure why any buses from kibblesworth are diverting or ones from team valley to haworth. It's just the section under the a1 between the a1 south slip and the kibblesworth turnoff that's shut. You can still get to saisbury normal route from both the team valley and kibblesworth. Then the other side of the found a about will close

It’s only 28A services CLS bound that are diverting and the 94.

And the 29 if thats the case.  I must have misread the previous posts as am sure it was said they were diverting in both directions?
