Instead of running Sat/Sun and Bank Holidays at an Hourly Frequency, It would run Hourly 7 Days a Week, Obviously the Direct Link to Concord would be lost, Not that many Passengers actually get on there anyway. Plus Passengers can quite easily hop on the M1/50 to the Galleries to make the Connection to the X88.
I have thought about that on and off for years, If I remember correctly your 'MetroCentre Link' looks close to what OK Travels X93 Murton-Newcastle, one of the only differences was it didnt goto Houghton
