Given that the E1 and E2 are registered separately to the E6, perhaps the E1 and E2 will interwork but not the E6? Not sure why they would do that though as the current setup works ok.

Edit: Ignore the above post. It appears that the E6 has been registered separately to the E1 and E2 in the past as well.

Due to the closure, buses will be unable to use their normal stops in the Park Lane Interchange and will instead use stands in the coach park area from 19:00hrs onwards. All changes to bus stands/stops will be displayed on the relevant display boards.

Stagecoach would like to apologise for any inconvenience, delays or disruptions these temporary works may cause and thank passengers for their patience and understanding.

Changes To All Routes Leaving Fawcett Street in Sunderland

02 Mar 2017

We have been advised that from Friday 10 March 2017, Bridge Street will be open to traffic in both directions. Traffic leaving the city centre via Fawcett Street will travel via Bridge Street then onto the Wearmouth Bridge Gyratory.

These changes will not affect the running times of any service leaving the city centre, but will endeavour to reduce the volume of traffic using High Street West, Bedford Street and West Wear Street.

As a consequence, the High Street West crossing from Fawcett Street to Bedford Street will be closed to vehicles from Monday 13 March 2017 onwards.

Wonder if they will both be operated by E200s from Walkergate then, it's not as if the 18 will need anything bigger other than peak times.

Also wonder if the 22 frequency will be reduced as noticed it is getting changed - passenger numbers seem to be very low from Cobalt to Wallsend outside of peak times so wouldn't surprise me to see some buses terminating at Wallsend from Throckley outside of peak times.
