(19 Apr 2017, 10:29 pm)northern156 wrote Tynedale Express X84 could have something to do with Wylam, being the birthplace of George Stephenson? Indeed the museum is signposted from the main bus stop!X84 and X85 alternate throughout the day - necessary to maintain hourly timing (X85 route takes 45 minutes, X84 60 minutes).
Yet another reason to split up the brand from the X85 and X84. The latter of which isn't much of an express outside of Heddon.

Service V7 will be diverted but no news of this on the Go North East website - the stop on Wear Road heading back up to Stanley will be missed with passengers either walking down to Avon Road for the 16 or just walking into Stanley.Surprised they're resurfacing there when there's the entirity of dipton and burnopfield. I guess they've got to be seen doing work regardless of size.

I approve, at least one bus company cares about customers!
I'm just not sure on the Q3 timetable revisions

(13 May 2017, 10:41 am)Michael wrote From Monday 15 to Friday 19 May, service X25 will be diverted between Wrekenton and Portobello due to a closure at Eighton Banks. This URL doesn't work, but thanks for info.
The service will divert via Long Bank, A1 on-slip, A1, A1 off-slip and Mill House roundabout, with Newcastle bound services diverting from Portobello onto A1, Eighton Lodge roundabout and Long Bank to Wrekenton.
A Shuttle Bus will run between Wrekenton Bus Link and Mill House Roundabout connecting with the diverted X25 service.

(15 May 2017, 7:23 pm)Dan wrote I am quite surprised it hasn't already made its way onto this forum given we've got several Riverside drivers on here and it has been posted elsewhere, but it was recently confirmed to them that services S1 and X66 will be merged into one service in the near future. The registration should be appearing very shortly, probably with a few more...
So you may have to come up with alternative plans for 8306...

(15 May 2017, 7:47 pm)Michael wrote Going by that information, wonder if an extra Streetlite is on order for the X66, as i would imagine the PVR will increase?
(15 May 2017, 7:53 pm)S813 FVK wrote Probably, although I think they may just be able to get away with 4 but it wouldn't be ideal.
The current frequency is every 8 minutes (2 hours to get back to an on-the-hour departure) so I would imagine every other journey coming into the Metrocentre would do the S1 loop providing they are planning to keep the 15 minute frequency which is likely.
(16 May 2017, 8:30 am)Andreos1 wrote But there is also the increase to the PVR at certain times, regardless of any delays to the service when it scoots around past Asda or Ikea. The S1 is rather unique in it's secret passageways around the Metrocentre, the only place to get traffic is around the back of Asda, and there's seldom any traffic away from peak time.
A delay to the S1 has far fewer implications than a delay to the X66.
