Not sure. But imagine how many more accidents you'll have trying to get a bus across? There would be no bridge left by the end of the week.
RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions v2
Not sure if this would work but what about reinstating the X88 as less of an express and more serving local areas around Washington here it is

88:

Concord
Blackfell
Oxclose
The Galleries
Fatfield
Harraton
Rickleton
Non-Stop
Dunston
Metrocentre

Every 60 minutes

There was previously the 183 which largely followed that route, but also serving Barley Mow and Birtley, Team Valley then the Metrocentre. Eventually it was revised to do Concord to the Galleries via Albany iirc, then Harraton, Rickleton, Barley Mow, Birtley and a pretty long-winded way to the Metrocentre.

The 183 was replaced by another service around 2005/06 (71 springs to mind, but I can't remember in all honesty), but that was very short-lived before being axed completely.

Not sure where to post this so I've put it on here!

Can anyone please tell me the PVR of the X30/31/70/71/72.

I had thought it was 12 but a comment on a Facebook group would suggest some E400's receiving black generic rears which would only leave 11 green ones.

Thanks

The PVR is 11 (f/n 6341-51 should be allocated).

So 69 Plates, with the X30 branding will be put into spares.

I thought the 69 plates were spare, they're always in service. Sadly got one last week or the week before on the X45.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to get one of the manky old 69 plates, might as well scrap them.

Yes - it's a really good use of resources to have 69 plate buses sitting around all day.

Not sure how you coped having a journey on a 2 year old bus, my heart bleeds for you.

Why thanks. I mean I don't mind them however it is that they have the older tables, and they seem to be following me around, the last 4 out of 6 times I have had a ADL 400 MMC its been one of them, I just refer the 20/70' plate tables.

To be fair, I've said from day 1 the tables on the E400s are awful. They're too far away to be useful, and the wireless chargers get in the way of a laptop.

I much prefer the tables on the StreetDecks, even over the new design as I don't like the feel of the material they used, it just looks and feels dirty.

Your service 21A suggestion, are you suggesting short Angel 21s that currently terminate at Chester extended to Langley Park? Whilst in itself isn’t a bad suggestion, the 21 starts getting confusing; two just to Chester, two an hour going to Brandon and two to Langley Park.

Also on a slightly related note, I’m not sure it’s very straight forward the way the X1 works now. So it’s the same service number wether it’s Peterlee or Dalton Park bound or what can now be classes as short run just to Easington Lane. If you live in Murton, South Hetton or Easington Village you need to need to where the bus terminates just to get home on the right bus. Peterlee bound buses should be numbered X2.
RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions v2
X1 All journeys terminating at Dalton Park. Route unchanged but service will be reduced to every 20 Minutes Monday - Saturday daytime and 30 minutes on Evenings and Sundays.

New service X2 Newcastle Eldon Square - Hartlepool Interchange. Will operate X1 route to Washington Galleries then non stop down A19 to Dalton Park then operate via Easington Village to Peterlee then Operate to Hartlepool via Horden Blackhall and Hart Station.
Service will run every 30 minutes to Peterlee and Every 60 minutes to Hartlepool Monday - Saturday daytime. Last Service to Hartlepool will be 18:30 and From Hartlepool will be 18:00. Sunday Journeys will be every 60 minutes to Peterlee and every 2 hours to Hartlepool on an experimental basis.

Service X6 will once again be extended to Hartlepool every 60 minute on Monday - Saturday daytime via current route between Sunderland and Peterlee will operate to Hartlepool via Castle Eden Hart Village and Bishop Cuthbert and Throston Grange Estates in Part replacing one of the Peterlee locals.

New service X 7 Middlesbrough - Teesside Park - Stockton- North Tees Hospital- then limited stop to Peterlee via A19 stopping at Dalton Lodge and Wingate. Then from Peterlee limited stop via Dalton Park and Seaham then non stop to Sunderland Interchange. If possible will inter work with X6.

That is what i'm suggesting, but having thought about it more, i would number it the 22. If it the frequency goes back up to 8ph you could have short and long 21's and the same for the 22's with four of each.

This seems to be regular theme in his suggestions, and much like you both, I'm as perplexed as to why also.

If I remember originally correctly, service 135/136 139/140 was replaced by service cross city 29/29A/39/39A north estates to Doxford park and service 126 160/163 was replaced by the cross city 26/26A/36/36A Pennywell to Heworth , there were all short lived due to increase lateness either north side or south side of the wear and were chopped at the city centre
