Congrats on getting through the assessment day. 
 1. Training is paid at minimum wage from the day you start, depending on your age it will be either the minimum wage or the national living wage, it goes up once signed off from your mentor at the depot once you have passed all the tests then goes up over time. 
2. The job is great, its like every job though, you will hear stories of people who hate it but have been their 20 odd year, it cant be that bad can it. 
3. Training is Monday to Friday, after that your days off could be any day of the week but you will get some weekends off. 
A little tip, start studying for your theory tests now as you do them in the first week, the training is really intense but it is worth it in the end.
