If you can get to a bus to the place. Northallerton must have some of the worst bus services in the whole country, especially for the size of the place.

People are more likely to use a train versus a bus. Most people can't stand buses mainly because they go a longer route than you'd drive and sit in the same queues. In most cases, trains are usually quicker as you avoid the queues etc.
