Steaming is pushing it!!  I was dragging my heels to not run early!!

Went through the lights quick enough in my opinion, could've stopped for a quick photo op and still been on time.

(28 Jun 2022, 8:11 pm)F114TML wrote If it was 10 minutes late, surely it'd be followed by a 39, not another 39A (unless one driver has, for some reason, put the wrong screen on)
694 was a rescue. 666 started out from Doxford and gave up in Ryhope. 694 took over in Ryhope leaving 8 mins late. The next 39A was 679 on time 22 mins later, so the bus you saw behind must have had the wrong display!

I believe it was a Country Ranger and not a Green Arrow.

There are 6 buses currently on the 60, only 1 of those is a Drifter, 5 are off the road.

They might not be broken but simply trapped in the depot. There's numerous cancellations today, if buses weren't parked correctly last night then some buses won't be able to get out as they'll be stuck behind vehicles they don't want today and it's easier to throw anything on than rearranging everything to get them out.

Not to mention they're the oldest Streetlites at Deptford so might aswell use the 15/16 plates which no doubt would've been out til late last night.

The 60 streetlites have the easiest work at Deptford. They all finish at 6-7pm.

One of them is off the road as it had a window put out yesterday in Seaham.

I can actually see two Drifters tracking on Bustimes on the 60 right now - 5369 and 5370; meanwhile 5371 was on the 60 earlier but seems to have drifted its way onto the 61 (pun partially intended)

But they're often out on the nightbus

Just seen an EG Rider on the X10. Bet that's fun with those seats.

Surprised there hasn't been a swap between Cobalt & Coast B9TLs and Coaster StreetLites for the Mouth of The Tyne today.

I’m sure it’d be a much easier decision to make if everything was corporate coloured
