With 35163, replaced 34550/63/4, though 34550 has been reinstated.

Dont think 35163 has been reported in service yet, which might explain why 34550 is hanging on
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2017
Seeing as though we are talking Darts, 34562/65/67 will be transferring to Carlisle in the coming days.
Also now in the public domain, 19194-219 (aka all remaining 57 plates) are up for grabs on UK bus cascades for departure in a few months time.

Its about time them darts found a new home, I wonder what could be replacing the E400s? New vehicles or transfers from elsewhere?

Possibly a few will be freed up after the service changes in April. Not sure about what would replace the rest of the batch however.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2017
I would have thought it would be the 54 plate MANs that would be freed up first, what with them nearing the end of their lives. The service reductions are an easy way of withdrawing them, as I suggested in another thread.

Hopefully Slatyford will still have a group of E400s of some sort. I think they help out alot especially on busy X87/88 trips where capacity is an issue at peak times

Saw 24002 at around 15:10 yesterday on New Bridge Street on the X24. It sounded pretty healthy, perhaps all is well with the vehicle now.  Wink

Guess it's another one feeling poorly now then, as 28036 (?) is on the X24 today.

24003 was the one missing yesterday. 28005 was on the X24 in its place.

Where are 19201/2 being transferred to?

I assume 22011 has a one way ticket to the scrapman. Have any of the 03/53 reg MAN ALX300s for disposal been sold yet?

Information from the SNE twitter page:

SS Ops: The 16:29 svc E2 Marsden>South Shields is currently delayed due to a mechanical fault. Replacement bus is on its way.

Does anyone know which bus broke down?

I haven't seen 27730 since Tuesday, which didn't sound very healthy.
