(02 Aug 2015, 4:58 pm)Dan There's no publicity events for the new services in Hexham as far as I am aware G-CPTN, but there should be staff on hand to help everyone out. Hopefully all of the timetables have been printed and will be available to be handed out, too. Thanks - I didn't want to miss a party . . .

(03 Aug 2015, 9:46 am)S813 FVK The 35/36 brand has been revealed...It's interesting as seeitdo is kind of a what's on in Sunderland guide from what I can see.

(03 Aug 2015, 10:00 am)S813 FVK As does their facebook. I quite like the livery if i'm honest. Just has that nice look about it.Yeah it looks great, I think the bright vibrant colours seem to go well with the gold base coat.

(03 Aug 2015, 10:50 am)Drifter60 Is this not possibly just a promotional bus?
Interesting that this would be the livery - the fact the route now goes into Chester Le Street, means the brand would be a little off message.
The brand itself looks slightly rushed, I would say, the SeeItDoIt seems to blend into the gold background.
The rest of the brand looks okay though, the landmark images is good.
(03 Aug 2015, 10:30 am)idiot Someone replied to there tweet saying that's where the comfy buses off the 2 gone!

(03 Aug 2015, 11:05 am)Dan No, this is not a promotional bus. It can be confirmed as the new route branding for services 35 and 36.
The "See it, do it, Sunderland" brand promotes links to Sunderland from locations further afield such as Low Moorsley, Chester-le-Street, Houghton-le-Spring and Boldon, using Sunderland City Council's well-known marketing campaign which advertises the things to see and do in Sunderland. On the photograph; it is clear that Sunderland's architecture (the Wearmouth Bridge) and its educational activities (the Winter Gardens Museum) are being promoted. Services 35 and 36 stop close by both of these places.
I quite like the route branding - in my opinion it's like a slightly toned down version of the "Coast & Country" branding. The branding stands out a lot more than the old "laser" design too, which hopefully will draw more attention to the bus from potential customers! The gold base livery does worry me somewhat though, as it's more or less impossible to colour match this gold paint when a panel has to be replaced due to damage...

(03 Aug 2015, 11:54 am)Drifter60 I see!
Slightly odd though for customers in Chester going from Town Centre to Lumley on the See it Do it Sunderland bus!
I assume Sunderland Council is working in partnership with GNE for this branding then?
Could be a good thing for the business if they can prove branding works and do partnership brands (however that brings more pressure on depots to get allocations right!)
I am wondering though if the livery may have looked better on different base colour?
I'm not keen on this brand with the base colour, can't think what would of suited better mind.

(03 Aug 2015, 12:05 pm)R852 PRG Anybody going to Lumley is odd anyway.I did once for photos, certainly proves your point of being odd in more than one sense.
