Pretty sure South Tyneside Council upgraded a selection (6-8) OmniCities for the 50 before it merged with the 26 and that is why they now have streetdecks on the route or atleast Euro 6 buses.

24117/19/23 have all gone into service at Slatyford according to Bustimes. 24119 is definitely out as I saw it on service 11 last night (Thursday).

Guessing these will all be heading to Teesside by the end of next week.

22890(not 100% sure on this one maybe someone could say? It arrived from Carlisle with the others but was never used)

Tomorrow shouldn’t be an issue for them being a Sunday service, I’d imagine the 24***’s will be on them tomorrow but the week days will be an issue unless they’re getting a few extra from Stockton to cover.

I am sorry if later but 27250 went up north to Newcastle want come down from bus come from Newcastle to replace it?

The non tracking 24121 was not about yesterday so possibly that went south with the driver of 27250

Had a feeling 22887 would be going to Stockton once repainted. I’d imagine 22889 will be going for repaint after that one. Anyone know if Stockton are getting 22890? Moved to Slatyford with 887&889 but never entered service.

I believe 22065 is getting scrapped but the other 3 should be replaced not sure if they’ll get 4 buses as Stockton will only get the 3

i think once the double decker's issues get sorted walkergate is meant to lose the extra 5 E200s and i think 9 single decker's to go back to its old allocation. although (correct me if im wrong) with most of the 62/63 services going to slatyford they may not regain all of their old allocation of E400s

I work at slatyford I’m sure it was that one that pulled into the depot had connecting the dots branding like 27254 that’s already here, the only other bus with that branding 27246 is out in service at Stockton. Guessing they’ve put 249’s machine on another bus but unsure what they’ve had to replace it

Slatyford have really struggled for buses today it’s probably there for cover unsure for how long but won’t be there after this week due to the CAZ. I can see others coming to help out it was that bad today with the amount of buses in engineering. 

Most of the older buses that are going to Stockton probably won’t go until last minute wouldn’t surprise me if some broke down on the way..

ManViro 39711 at Slatyford on 30/31/36 just past it @ 1939 23/01 permanent move or just to cover transfer requirements.

Does anyone know what will happen with 57 plated E400’s 19204/19205/19179? I don’t believe they’re compliant with CAZ rules compared with the 58 plated E400’s

Interesting as Stagecoach in Carlisle have 3 of the 07 reg E400s 19141, 19144 and 19145, ex Newcastle, which have sometimes ventured back to Newcastle on the 685 - presumably they will be barred from Newcastle as well.

surely they should be improving the 685 matching it with GNE quality why can’t it be interurban yellow. With coach seats not a bus that’s barely fit to got 20 mins down the road never mind 2 hours
